Taking a fundamentally dead E-Type and repurposing it as a drift car is fine by me, otherwise it would have been left to rust away.
Chopping up a solid E Type would be sacrilege.
 
There's always bound to be something questionable at the Tokyo Auto Salon.

Subaru GL with a VW Beetle rear end or a VW Beetle with Subaru GL front end.
It's got both GL and Beetle engines in it.

On the upside, at least you've got two engines should one go wrong.
 
Saw these rear window cover for a Mustang by a company called Glassskinz and as the company describes them " is not a louver. It is a evolutionary “Rear Window Valence”."

They just have them for the S550 Mustang now. But they will have them for other cars soon.
It makes it look like a mid engine sports car.
