That's a very interesting find. I can see this in News section soon. 👍

The joy of Twitter.

I have also signed up (natch). I reckon he might struggle - no fear in GT5. Although, having said that, no fear in an F1 driver either!

It'd be cool if the Brazilian Grand Prix was the DLC, but I am doubting it.

The only problem with me and DLC is that I only have $2 on PSN.

There is no hint at all that it will be on a new magical DLC track. Why do you guys do this to each other lol.

I'm thinking a track in the UK which unfortunately in GT5 pointed to the one and only UK track, the Dunsfold Aeropark aka Top Gear Test Track. Would be wonderful, though (wishful thinking alert), if it was Silverstone.

This means something, my DLC alarm is going nuts now!!!
Hit the snooze button! I can confirm it will be held on a track that's already in the game. :p

I've entered, I hope I get picked but I know there is only a slim chance of that happening. Will be an awesome opportunity and will allow probably to talk to David and tell him to calm down his Button bias in his commentary :sly:.

It surely will be the Top Gear Test Track. The only other option could be the London track but how would that one work?

This is where the hotel is: Brooklands Hotel, Weybridge, Surrey. That is about 25 miles away from the track I believe.

I thought I'd add that Coulthard would finish Brands Hatch race the day before participants go to the hotel if any of us do get lucky and get picked. That means the track used will most likely be in the UK unless David decides to travel to Germany or somewhere else.

I'd bet TGTT first, full Nordschliefe second.
But it's hard for people that live elsewhere to really care about these things, I can only imagine how the Japanese feel.

I work at donington park, and before gt was released, way before, there was a car that was doing laps with all sorts of equipment on the car (Gtr) recording track data and info for the game. I was gutted when I found out that dono wasn't used. It would be great to see the track available.

Interesting. How do you know it was collecting data for Polyphony Digital?

To be honest I can't confirm that it was for pd, but the car had all the logos on it and gt5 logos, it drove round very slowly on the inside, the middle and the outside of the track. Several times in each position.

So that's how PD scans tracks.:sly:

So it's now safe to say that it will be the TGTT :)

I wonder if Top Gear crew will do some recording of the competition for a feature in the next season 💡

Probably for Shift 2?

meteo into the page showed 15°C, Nurburgring 15°C, Interlagos 11°C so the circuit will be nurburgring
