Keep deep forest it is a amazing track, just along as you allow cut through the cement area on turn 4.

If we do run there, cement area is allowed.

@nascarfan1400, Deep Forest "fits" into ITCC better than Bathurst and Apricot Hill - it was in season 1. Take your pick of a schedule change or not, but let's not go ranting about which tracks hypothetically does/doesn't fit. :)

Wait, why do you say so??
Because it is bland, repetitive and boring. All other ITCC tracks have different characteristics. DF Is literally a big hairpin followed by some S-curves...

Oh? I find it's one of the more characteristic courses from ITCC's first season.

The interesting part is the "crown" of the road near the two tunnels, the banking, and the elevation change... It's vaguely similar to Trial Mountain.

But, immediately after the second tunnel, there's a weird spot on the track where the circuit's crown (camber) is quite severe, and different on one side of the road to the other. If you hook the car up in that corner, it's immense fun... If you miss it, you have to slow down to like 80 km/h to regain control because the banking slopes away from the apex.

Okay. Fair enough. But that sounds like if your practicing, in a race, there's virtually nowhere to pass accept for the straights. Too many high speed corners, and 2 straights won't work. In TM, there are 3 straights and a few relatively low-speed corners. Giving more clean racing.

You can pass at deep forest, it just requires commitment and skill

While the passer may have it all planned out, the defender is typically unaware, and as tight as it is aswell as so high-speed, one bump whatsoever and your in the grass, or into the cliff side...

I'll agree with you on that... One time in particular, we did have a rather nasty crash when @braunracing88 (banned member) was in front of me. He drove himself into the cliff wall. Two or three cars behind me hit him.

:) I see my point has been made.

Anyways, everyone has heard about update 1.03 coming soon by now, if not, I'm amazed your rock gets internet. Here's my question:

If it happened to release on Friday/Saturday, would the race be postponed until Sunday, assuming it is larger than 1gb, as some internets are a bit slower on download speed?

I remain skeptical about that release entirely, but I'm willing to add this to OP:

"If PD/GT6 servers crash/experience difficulties/go down for maintenance during or immediately (36 hours) before races, races will either be re-scheduled or skipped, pending on situation. During preseason, the races will be immediately skipped, but during normal season, races will be re-scheduled to happen the following weekend, thus shifting the remainder of the entire schedule by a full week."

During, or Within 36 hours of race start. Maybe Add that too?

Are we going to have drop rounds??

Planning more trips to Bathurst, are you?

Anyways, let's get an informal poll going:

Please vote for one of the four following tracks as options for replacing Deep Forest - or not.

  1. Deep Forest - why remove it?
  2. Motegi East - return of a different ITCC 1 classic circuit
  3. Laguna Seca - finally making a première in ITCC racing after the mixup last season :guilty:
  4. Nürburgring 24hr.

3. Laguna is a fantastic, yet challenging track, and is very unique. Given we can cut the corkscrew a bit, this one for sure! :)👍

4, because it spreads the cars out and makes for a clean race.

Not like this:

This isn't season 2. The racing has been much more clean - not because of stewards breathing down peoples' necks, but because of good sportsmanship. I actually love running this series again. I know, I faltered in 2 with having to deal with it, but I'll be vigilant to keep things going smoothly.

That said, I don't have anything against the 'Ring. :mischievous: I just need to make sure that @GTracer98 doesn't win, because you never know....................... ;)

Well...it looks like it's going to be LS then. :)
