anyone race mod the z28 67 (i think) its awsome! ok mabye its not the fastest or the best handeling but... its fun to drive and sounds freaking awsome! might just be my new fav car in gt.

what i dont get is they have the '69 Camaro SS in the used lot and its a STANDARD!? and it makes 10 hp more stock and a ton more torque! Why couldnt that car be premium too?

The Z28 has a lot more history behind it then the SS. Z28 uses a 302Ci engine producing (In real life) about 380Hp at the flywheel. and was also much lighter than the SS on the nose because of this. It also won many Can Am races back in the 60s against Mustangs and various Mopars as well as it's brother F-body with the equally dangerous "Poncho" engines.

The SS meanwhile was more of the car you'd get if you were a drag racer, they had more torque, softer springs, and tha tall important bigger engine that was somewhat sleepy compared to the rather wound out 302.

Would this car stand a chance in the historic race against the Toyota 7? I have the C2 Z06 race car and I cannot keep up on the straights.

I did that race with this car, so yes. It is a very good car, lots of grip, but it does tend to under steer a lot. Put if you want a car on rails, the Evo RM is one.

Agreed the Camaro with the RM is a great sounding car, and if you wait for the chassis to catch up with the engine it's manageable, but it still understeers like a pig. Then again I haven't fiddled too much with the setup.

What I have been recently and pleasantly surprised with is how much fun a NASCAR car (can I say that?) can be on a road course. It lays down two strips anywhere you want and doesn't suffer from any appreciable snap oversteer. You have to be patient with it, because you can't flick it around corners, but it has the sound you like in the Camaro, but with some more handling prowess. You may want to give that a go.

How is this a question?
Also, you need to use correct punctuation and grammar (spelling more-so in this case) on this forum.

Hi :) i see an Evo RM mentioned above, could someone tell me which one can be RM'd please?

is it the X?

thanks up front 👍

Stiffening all the suspension settings to the max (or in my case, make the front a bit softer than the rear) really helps make the car more responsive. But it's still not great. Also run max rear brakes but only 5 front brakes to get the car to not understeer so much.

I love listening to the car in the overhead view. (but always drive it in windshield view) The 1969 Camaro Z28 with the race modification is a very cool car!
