Definitely doesn't run on v1.22, you're right about this! Holy cow. The screen was green lines going gradiently into white lines along with the 3D being blacked out like the game gave up.:lol:

There are settings to make it somewhat playable, albeit, you'll still get flickers every now and then and missing textures even the occasionally missing 3d asset here and there, so far from ideal.

At 1.05 the game plays fine with the right settings though, a year ago it didn't, so it might work better at 1.22 soon, it already is much improved to what it used to be.

The settings you need to have set specifically for GT6 above v1.06 are below:

Graphical issues across multiple game versions​

Version 1.00 has a game-breaking crash when finishing races, that was fixed with the 1.02 update. Do not, however, update the game version beyond version 1.05, as newer versions suffer from severe graphical issues and poor frame rate. If you still want to update the game with a version higher than 1.05, you must enable Write Colour Buffers and Read Colour Buffers. Even with these settings, expect issues like screen tearing and broken car reflections.

Different settings aside from the above may improve/worsen your experience depending on your hardware.

With my settings, I can complete races at v1.22, the screen flcikers much less in bonnet cam or bumper cam than any other views. Cockpit flickers and tears a lot, and going through tunnels is particularly psycadellic.
