Race modifacations in GT AUTO CENTERR

In the GT AUTO CENTER for changing oil stuff when can I use the end tab for race modifications? I've tried a range of different cars to see what the tab does but none work?

Anyone know anything about this?

Hi,

Follow this link to mygranturismo.net for all the RM (Race Modification) premiums you can make.
17 in total, buy the premium, go to GT Auto, upgrade it and paint if afterwards in your desired color.
