Oh, if you're coming in from miles back, especially with low aperture, having no magnification will make the end result bizarre.For the higher detail shots, having that extra resolution and clarity can make it seem more realistic.

Let me guess who....oh wait we don't need to even say that...Ok, currently taking pictures of this old Roadster TC race @ Daytona. 25 laps, somehow I won after a crash happened at the exit of turn 2. The guy who crashes when "Ain't no mountain high enough!" is played caused it by doing what he does best, spinning.
