Here's something I thought of, brought on by what we did last night.

You know how running 15 laps at Daytona in a Model S runs the fuel limit almost perfectly? How about making each race a lap or two longer than what's capable on one charge - you still have to race while conserving electricity. If your batteries go flat, you're out.
 
Sounds like doing multiple races on the same oval with the same car would get a bit boring, and I have the attention span of a flea (much like the rest of this "Information Generation"). Even with the challenge of saving charge. But I'm in no position to make any decision, if Nas likes the idea, he likes it. If he can't be bothered, and thinks we should try and just have good races instead, then that's how it is. If none of those are accurate, which is more than likely, then so be it.
 
I'm not limiting it to Daytona, I had something like the Eco Challenge in mind:

I was thinking of tonight trying to spec out the 190E, Alfa 155 and Opel Calibra DTM cars to make them even. Anyone up for it?

I remember there was a DTM series around here, but I'm not sure where it is. They specced the cars very evenly there.
 
I don't like racing the Model S @ Daytona because as long as you're lowlining on the lead you have it in the bag, which was exactly what I did.

My other problem is with cars who hit the speed limiter and go back 20+ kph back (Quattro Pikes Peak for example).

I would like to find a car that by itself reaches a certain speed and under draft can achieve 20, 25+ kph so we are able to slipstream past and STILL don't reach a peak speed that make you lose all the speed gained because of the slipstream... That's my goal, because that would be an ideal car for ovals @ Fun Runs. Maybe even two, one which doesn't have enough downforce so you have to slow down to make the corners at Indy and Motegi and one with enough downforce to make all of the corners in both tracks (or at least slow down for T3 @ Motegi). Of course, it can't be EXPENSIVE because we don't want to go spending 5M on two cars.

We have a car for that; the IROC Z Camaro's.
 
We had it a it's own [RACE] series in Fun Runs. It's was nice.
 
@nascarfan1400 , can I open a Fun Runs room to have some quality DTM racing?

Haven't used the Camping World Trucks in a while. Although there seems to be a lot of hate for ovals, (for some reason) it's a good car to use due to it's easy behaviour and the racing it produces. Should give it a shot sometime again.
 
Is anyone free tonight? (As in the next couple of hours onwards)?

Pardon my intrusion here, gentlemen, but since I'm currently on vacation from university, I've been thinking of doing some online racing in GT6 again. And since there's this fine group of (crazed) people called RACE, I thought "Maybe I should try and do some races with these (crazed) guys." My skills are rusty as heck for online racing, but it's worth a shot. So, is it okay with you lot that I join this world of racin'?
