Racing against 1 other car

I have seen a few videos where there are only 2 cars racing. Would this be an on-line race with another person or is there a way to set up a race with just 1 AI car? There is no text displayed in the video.

Most ridiculous argument of the day...Its both. Multiplayer can be considered Online or Split screen. Depending on the game, split screen can also be online.

In this case, he is using multiplayer as in the 2 player split screen (same as I would use it)

My response (simpled down so you dont misread the tone) 2 player offline would be called split screen (most games call it that anyway).

The correct answer to what you guys are arguing about is....

Any game or activity that involves more than one human player is multiplayer.

It is not specified in the difference between online multiplayer and split screen multiplayer. Different Game developers define it in different ways on their games. Its all up to verbal preference. AGAIN...BOTH CORRECT, but incorrect at the fact that you both disagree with each other.

Multiplayer is a term used for videogames from waaaay before the internet was utilized in gaming. It is a term printed on video game boxes for games that offer 2 or more players.
