You should play the 4 player drop in drop out terrorist hunt online. If anyone on your team gets points they go to everyone. So even when you are dead you still get points. 👍 Same with the Co-op campaign online.
I seem to always use the AK even though it isnt very good. I like the challenge.
Off Topic: Nice looking avatar Dragonistic.

Yea but I only get XP in those online modes not ACES points, im boosting a my markman points by repeating the start of the monorail level of single player. I have played plenty of the online terrorist hunts i enjoy them most in this game. I was wrong about my levels to i was 13/10/8 im now 15 for marksman the other 2 are the same. It's also helping me get XP bonuses so my rank is going up to :)

EDIT: Tried out Versus again, got in one decent game and managed 8 kills 3 deaths, it was not perfect connection wise but very playable

I was going to say I'll be able to play with you guys whenever tonight since I bought my 360 to work, but I forgot the damn 360 video cable. 👎

Well i've had more luck with versus tonight, but the map designs aren't great and often end up in a huge camp fest at certain chokes which kinda ruins it.

There are definitely area's people "camp", but I usually stick to T-hunt if I want to have fun. If it's multiplayer then it's dealing more with lag or glitches for me than campers. Ex: I empty all my bullets from a clip of a light machine gun, reload, and get killed by a shotty from across the map.

Streets is a great example of camping numptys with no idea, it was team deathmatch and EVERYONE was sniping cross map, so I pulled out my silenced UMP, ran under the tunnels and took out all 4 of the entire enemy team with a headshot each. Yet no-one else had thought to do this they were so involved in their sniper battle.

You can tell when someone has good tactics whether t-hunt or multiplayer. They just don't die that fast or at all. Other times like in t-hunt the game takes over and kills everyone simultaneously.

I still think this game is far better than say CoD4 in the campers/douches/tOOls during multiplayer.

I agree, but i think the some (not all) maps are just not worth playing at all. I stick to the hunts still, I do generally survive til last as I'm much more cautious and slow with my movements. Really glad i bought this though :)

I really wish some of the story maps were playable in t-hunt but there's a lot of maps to play period. I think my fav is Kill house still. Glad you like it. :)

I still haven't finish the story yet, I am currently outside the monorail station although I lost my checkpoint from inside when I boosted yesterday (now level 23 marksman ).

I think my favourite hunt map that I've tried is probably Theater even though it can be fiendishly difficult it's just a nice map and the difficulty makes me want to survive more and play as a team more, other maps like say Presidio or Villa can often be ran solo without half asmuch trouble.

Indeed I am it's all I've played since I got it

What do we think the quickest way of getting CQB points is? Assault is quite easy, just pack C4 and 'nades then go hunting and of course marksman points come flying in during single player. You do get CQB points alot but I just want a quick way

Sorry we missed you vip. We got consumed with Rock Band 2 and Halo 3. We were up until 5:30 in the morning.
The good news is that we dont have to work next weekend so we can be up late again Friday night. We should be able to hook up with you for sure in RSV2.
Dragon
If you want the CQC you could equip a shotgun and wait until they get close.

Thats what I was doing originally for CQB points, then I changed my tactics are armed myself with my trusty L85 and went blindfire mad on every hunt. I've now achieved level 20 for both Marksman and CQB, the Assault unlocks don't appeal to me :)

I had fun playin with ya Dragon, but I'm sorry to say... 360 RSV2 > PS3 RSV2

First off... this game seems to be 720p on the PS3 because it seem PS2 quality. It's like I smeared vaseline on my glasses before playing this game. Secondly, because of that view I start to not be able to see stuff and react as well all while I'm stuck behind those two idiots blocking my path. I think for the PS3 version they made these two EXTRA worthless because they never at least block my path on the 360 version. It seems like it's another PS3 port shaft. :indiff:

It's cool, I still played RSV2 and even did some multiplayer games. lol Sniper even. That's a first.

Probably be on tomorrow night. After that the next 2 fri. nights I don't work. Yay.

We might be on in this game or RB2 for a while then for sure I will be playing Saints Row 2. I am severly addicted to that game.

Sorry about bringing back this thread but does anyone here still play this game? I recently got back into it and was just wondering if any GTPers with the PS3 version still play this? Still lots of people playing online, especially terrorist hunt!

I don't play religiously but a quick go every now and then. I'll happily do some hunts with you, but I rarely bother with my headset because I'm lazy  It's there if need be though.

That is if one of us can host effectively without lag.

Add me when you can (I'm at college right now) and we'll sort something out.

I still enjoy this game a lot but I have it for the 360.
