Tough to get a lap, but when you do get one, the times are super lenient. Got a 3:57 after just getting to grips with the Quattro S1.

Don't worry if you overshoot a few corners or go way slower. Only do worry about hitting a wall that's supposed to blow to smithereens.

Just use your brakes and keep traction and you'll be fine. I used the '05 Impreza rally car with a low rpm turbo, had an awesome lap :D

3:54.993. Stock Subaru Impreza Rally Car 03. Might come back and have another go at some point, quite enjoy the rally events.

3:37,072 with the Lancer Evolution Super Rally Car and a DS3 controller.
Maybe this is the most tough seasonal event ever existed in Gran Turismo. You need great momentum & concentration if you want to do a good lap...
1st in Greece and 4th overall ;)
GO GREECE!!!

Edit: I did 3:35,960 using the ghost of the 10th. 14th overall now ;)

Stock Audi '86 only oil change 3.49.1 hate rally in gt6 so am happy enough with gold. like 50 tries it took so a lot of frustration.... but happy with the final result!:yuck::lol:

Used the AE Audi S1 with some ballast in it, not a lot of fun, don't know the track well enough to push at all. Managed gold by a few seconds though so it must be pretty forgiving.

Throttle control is your best friend for this one, instead of going all out and putting the gas pedal to the floor even along the straight aways try regularly tapping the throttle as I did to achieve my 3:58.8, I found that this throttle action allowed me to better control where the car was heading by allowing me to drive more stable, it also made the car whip around hairpins easily!

I drove the Audi Quattro S1 Rally Car 15th Anniv. Ed. '86
It took me a few trys to get warmed up to rally racing again but I did it within the first half an hour of attempts!

TCS 1 ABS 1 All other assists OFF

Ugh. I am NOT looking forward to this event. I have to do it though, because I don't even attempt the drifting Seasonal Events. Frankly, I wish drifting wasn't even a part of this game, but I digress...the world doesn't revolve around me. Anyway, I never practice rally racing in GT6, probably because I just have a hard time believing the physics could be even remotely accurate. Plus, when you're car is up against a plastic fence 25% of the lap, but it's acting like it's made of steel, I don't know - I just get turned off by it. Different strokes for different folks.

I'm going to attempt this TT. I'm not expecting great results. Maybe I'll surprise myself! LOL Yeah, right...

The crest after the last steep uphill section got me a couple of times, and I dread the earlier plunge before the bridge. The difference between too early landing & braking and a collision dq is not great.

Silver 4:10.500 Gold 4:03.588 with a 206 rally car at 343 bhp.

3:50.427 3:42.121 after a few more laps. :)
900º wheel, no wheel or driving assists, 0 ABS.

Used a Lancer Evo Super Rally '03.
No tuning other than power parts to get 550PP, & B/B adjust.

I think there is still way more time to be had...
...#2 spot on LB now (JF-094) is down to 3:33.740 with 0 ABS.

Brings back memories of doing GT5's Sebastien Loeb Challenge.

Anyone who used the Lancer Evolution Super Rally Car '03 -- would you mind sharing your tune with a Rally Rookie. I just bought this ride because I saw everyone in the Top 10 was using it. I never practice on the dirt tracks. I need all the help I can get.

Thanks!!

No tune here, I just adjusted FG to 5500, B/B @ 2/0 for 0 ABS...
...added engine stage 3, medium turbo, 80.2% to get to 550PP.

Now at 3:45.756 3:42.121, 900º wheel, no wheel or driving assists, 0 ABS.

Thanks. I did the Stage 3 Engine Upgrade, didnt put on the turbo and ran 100% Limiter for 545PP. I drove one lap and surprisingly I didn't get DQ'ed! LOL My time was 4:13.992 which got me Silver. I'm happy with it considering I think I've driven that track 2 times previously. I have no experience with Rally driving in GT6. Frankly, I probably won't even attempt another lap because it feels like my steering wheel is going to explode in my hands.. I would be so pissed if something broke in my wheel attempting this seasonal. It honestly sounds and feels like gears are about to crack in half when I run this event.

You can turn down the FFB in GT6/Options/Steering Controller menu if you get too much rattle & roll.

I got my FFB down to one but my G27 shakes like it going to destroy itself and I might be going back to my DS3 but I have not use it to race for a very long time or I might give this TT a miss and I do not want to destroy a wheel yet.

Got gold with a 4:01:xxx. Only took my about 80-90 tries. Only the slightest touch of the wall will DQ you. Used the 08 Impreza WRC. TC 0. ABS 1. I left a lot of time on the table but too worried about touching the wall. Surprisingly the 1 and only clean lap I got was my gold lap. Fun but wish there was a bit more wiggle room in regards to touching the wall.

I used a DS3 on this as well.

I can't afford to break my wheel. :nervous:
Unfortunately, I can't use a DS3 to play this game. I've never tried it - and I don't play other games so the controller would be completely unfamiliar to me. I might try turning my FF down to its lowest setting. If that still shakes me too much I'll just give up because I'm in the same boat as you -- I can't afford to be buying a new wheel right now.
