some pretty good times this round...BobK has the advantage I think.
I am so in this next week, my G25 is gonna arrive VERY soon,
I will do you guys all a favor, I will take the GT replica of my car, around the ring. My first drive on the G25 will be recorded for you guys to see how bad I really am :D

Please accept my humble apologies for my discontinued participation in this most honorable of competitions. I have had the rare opportunity to work what can only be described as a veritable buttload of hours (15+/Day). As such, I have not had the time required to pursue such an addictive challenge such as this. Perhaps in the future, when I`m not being such a money hungry *so and so*, I will be able to enjoy your hospitality to a much fuller extent.

No worries Mate! Understandably other obligations are more important, in fact from the PM's it would appear as though things are keeping your fellow racers from participating.

I hate to say this, HR31GTS-X, but it appears that you're not the only one. Seems like only Jordan and I answered the bell for the third round :guilty::confused:

Greetings Ringmeisters!
This week several of you ran my Jensen, but none with more skill than BobK!
His times amazed me! In fact he was within .003 seconds of two of my splits, and ended up with only 2.795 seconds in penaltys to stand atop the podium! He is flanked in second by LukeAllen, with only 3.222 seconds in penalty's. They are joined by Don Jose with 8.95 seconds in penalty's, and young Squire Tulock scores his first point!
BobK, I bow in your presence, phenomonal times Good Sir! And to all the others congrats.Sir Jordan I hope your time at Laguna was rewarding and fun!

Thanks for the kind words, guys. But coming within 0.003 of an unknown target is really more a matter of luck than skill.

It's an interesting task our good Steward has set before us this week. I have tried three different cars so far that all come very very close to Fangio's split times for this week. But they have a 20-second difference in final lap times! Quite a problem...

I'd like to thank Fangio again for coming up with this series. I've been driving a lot of cars on the 'Ring lately that I likely never would have driven otherwise, and enjoying every minute of it! Well except for the occasional long slide on the grass against the wall :dunce:

Do not sell yourself short! It is a matter more of skill than of luck, for your drive must be consistent. Indeed traversing the Ring is a challenge, it is never mastered or tamed, it is always a challenge!
I've mentioned before, my laps at the evil Ring. At any point where I thought I was the master of my lap, the track would pounce, and I would once again be put in my place.
Put thine best feet forward knights of yon Ring! For only to the wisest and most crafty will this weeks spoils come!

Squires, Knights, Earls, Dukes, and Other Assorted Warriors Of Yon Terrible Ring!
The final round is upom you, but first some unfinished business. Luke hath edged out the formidable BobK this week by a mere .125 seconds! Amazing rounds by both of you. It now leaves both of you tied atop the board with 17 points each. Neither one of you picked my 1991 MB E 2.5 Evo II, so it is this last round that will determine the Lord Of The Ring!
This week there are no restrictions on vehicle, either in type or in the modifications.
You will run 2 laps this week, all the same rules apply to the first lap as before. The second lap is an all out dash to beat my second lap time by as much as you can! That's right Good Sirs! An all out orgy of speed! The laps must be run consecutively. The first lap scores as always, the second lap points are doubled!
There is also a bonus! Answer the following question correctly and with the closest time, it is worth an additional 10 points!
In 1972 I rode a Norton Commando for 7 laps at the Ring, 2 of which were in the rain. Was my fastest lap faster than or slower than 11'51.123, in the rain or dry, and what do you guess as my best time?
