a. which is best car, I am using vette zr1 c6 09

ran out of gas less than half way in

dont know how to get more gas or what to do

The easiest car is the rocket (prize car).
No new fuel nor tires required during race.

what is rocket, no clue what that is

pit stop where?

Ok first of all, mostly all racetracks have pit lanes. At Willow Springs, the pit lane is on the left side of the front straightaway. When you are low on fuel, drive down it and you can decide how much fuel you want to put in the car.

Second, the Light Car Company Rocket '07 is a prize car that you win early in the game, and you can use it if you don't want to pit.

You can go into the pits, or you just take a more fuel efficient car. :D

No problem :gtpflag:
You should have won the Rocket from completing the first part of the Goodwood special event with all golds

The Rocket is the prize car for the first three Goodwood Festival races

Treed!

I used the Ford GT '06. It was not very expensive when purchased in the dealership. Tuned to 595 Performance Points(PP). This car wore the tires and burned the fuel excessively. Pit on lap 6 of 8. I finished the race with the fuel at less than 1%.

no, as someone who has raced most gt 5 and 6 this is the first time fuel was an issue

troll, man, dont you have better things to do with your time

All the GT5 endurance races, both A-Spec and B-Spec, required pit strategy.

right, and those long long races that lasted forever and were boring as hell, i never bothered with those

this was 20 miles, not 500

I used the '02 NSX R. I was winning and ran out of fuel, last lap just after the final corner and came in 3rd. I pitted for tires on the 6th lap and didn't think about fuel...

i bought the rocket, easily won but i did juice it up a bit with tuning

dont know why i didnt win the rocket early on, the only races i didnt get gold in were the karts, i barely squeaked by those, now i see that car is goodwood festival, which i guess i havent done

thanks to all the helpful responders

A Honda NSX R-type '02 does this easy on one set of SS tyres stock using no aids. With the right car this race is not that hard. Pick a RUF BTR and it's a handfull...
