I'll give it a 7. I don't really like rap particulary but it was better than most rap I have heard.

I thought that was okay, I'll give it a 3/10.
It just doesn't stand out for me as catchy nor does the topic of the song mean much to me. I don't like a lot of modern music but it's self defeating as they fall into the bracket that they are trying to criticise. Also, it makes the pretense that modern music is mostly awful and older music was mostly brilliant. While, I agree that most modern music is bad (at least I don't enjoy it), I think that an awful lot of older music was terrible too but it gets forgotten because people simply don't listen to it anymore.

Lenon gets a 9/10 just for being Lenon even though he's not my favourite Beatle.

...for the previous song: Ugh. 5/10

He's singing about how drum machines don't have soul on a track with an obvious drum machine loop. Maybe it's just me getting old and crotchety but the song they are borrowing heavily from is still better and it's from 1979: "Video killed the radio star" originally by Woolley & the Camera Club. Some might remember this version (by the Buggles) from the Vice City soundtrack:

Always liked it but it wasn't a favorite. If nothing else is on the radio I'd listen to it, simply because I've known it all my life.


Time for progressive metal from Maiden. New stuff. Most of their stuff doesn't sound like this but I love it. The thought that went into this one is mindblowing.

Chris Farlowe - Out Of Time
A Rolling Stones song that was covered by Chris Farlowe and produced by Mick Jagger. The Rolling Stones did a second version of this song in 1975 using the same backing track as is being used here.

Not bad. Believe or not I like old rock from the 80's from twisted sister to Iron Maiden. Twisted Sister had music videos lol. Rate mine slash. I want your honest oponion.

Yeah it's off one their "meh" albums but it was one of the albums that got me into Maiden. They have MUCH better than that. That song I posted is from '92.
