So I've been looking at (trans)portable/survival gun cleaning kit here & there, on & off. When I was on the Hk site, I noticed this kit:

On Amazon.

It looks pretty solid?

P.S. On the Hk site, I was looking at the P2000 SK(as a carry pistol). What do you guys think? I'm in love.

Dang it, I think my target bullets are borked. I'm talking about the 168 grain Speer Sierra Matchking, I let my reloaded rounds roll on a perfectly flat surface and about 70% had wobbling bullets. Nothing extreme, but little things can have an enormous effect on accuracy. Checked other rounds with different projectiles, they didn't wobble even a tiny bit. Used the same reloading procedures so it cannot be caused by my reloading dies, it must be the bullet itself.

The bullet has a great reputation, yet I'm only getting mediocre accuracy with it. I wonder if the wobbly bullets is the source of the lack of accuracy. Hm.

Pretty? No, but it does look pretty cool, though.

Wait, were you asking me, or...

EDIT: OK, if you're trying to sell a brand new rifle on the market, a .338LM AR, why would you choose such a crapy picture? Some people are just too stupid to stay in business.

Really light slide....... I'm pretty sure I'd end up shooting myself in the gut.

Or...... Maybe it's the best digital camo, EVER!

I wonder if there's such thing as Chinese counterfeit bullets. As the stories in the U.S. go, Chinese knockoffs of everyday items can be pretty convincing, and even the retail chains often fail to catch them....... Probably just poor quality control though. :D

It's pretty good, but it could use more guns & more blowing stuff up. :p

Still striking out on the .22LR from cheap retailers, did pick up a couple of .45ACP at $22 a box(Sellier & Bellot, never used them before). It's a decent price.

I picked up two boxes of CCI Stingers this past weekend. I have shot quite a bit of Sellier and Bellot ammunition out of the PPQ.

Are there deals on 9mm anymore? This store I went to today had a boatload(numerous brands), but they seemed to have been $15.99 & up? My boxes of .45 for $22 were the cheapest for the caliber. As long as they shoot reliably, I'm happy. :)

$16 bucks for a box of 9mm seems reasonable...?

Ah. I haven't shopped for them in a while, so I was kind of wondering about it myself. When I had a 9, I aimed to get a box for $10. Most of the time, I want to say they were around $12-ish, but I don't remember for sure. If you can still find a box for $12 today, sounds like a deal to me. 👍

I bumped into this video, never have watched a shooting competition before, so I decided to check it out.

They start off with a kid from China, which surprised me. Of course, with total gun ban in Japan(99.9% of civilians), I wasn't expecting to see Japan being represented...... what a shocker. :D

Video was long, but it was worth it. It seems they are shooting .22's.

Five rounds, five targets. Shooters have roughly four seconds.

Edit: Sometimes, comment section on these sites are just pure win. I was wondering how the U.S. wasn't represented in this competition myself:

👍
