I think it's too loud and oversaturated. I don't like it. I wonder if this is masking the true sound quality.
Many people seem to feel that the louder and more distorted the sound, the better.

I've only heard the video posted on TV speakers but so far I agree with you. It still doesn't sound like a real motor but a mechanical recreation of 1. Still better than your average GT car but not "real".
 
I may not like the big Red Bull fan cars, but I just did the Junior championship and I have to say it was a lot of fun. The Juniors are great to drive. Very cool.
 
Here's an idea for y'all. If you don't like the Redbull's, WRC cars, F1's, NASCARs, etc., you might wanna start looking for a different game to play. Gran Turismo has always been about variety. As the old saying goes, variety is the spice of life! 👍
It's not going to change just because a few people want those vehicles removed. You folks are in the extreme minority as far as that goes.
 
They're pretty nice cars imo. I just hate the FFB on them and that RPM bar on the wheel. I DON'T NEED TO UPSHIFT HALF WAY UP MY REVS GAME!
 
I love the sound of a car like this. I might actually want to drive this car and get really good with it!

The engine sounds are superb in my opinion and it seems like a joy to drive. Can't wait till I get GT6 on Christmas.

My only question is this: Does it still have the fan sucking the car to the ground?

The Junior and the Standard ones don't.
Although there is still a fan car.
 
Have not tried the car yet. But I've watched a few videos, it sounds awesome!
Makes me giggle like if I were at the track listening to a bunch of cars go by!
 
I'm thinking that the Standard X2014 will be similar to the 5G hidden in GT5. Pretty much an X2014 minus the fan, and a different turbo V6 producing 400HP as opposed to the Fan Car's outrageous 1,500HP.

I'm expecting power output in the range of the new turbo F1 motors. Maybe with some sort of KERS as well.
 
I was blown away by the sound and the sheer enjoyment of driving it has made this update the best yet. They have really come along way with improving the engine sound for the RB X Cars and the Karting Championship was a lot of fun! I'd 100% Redo those Championships again for the sheer fun and credits :)

I hope so... you can't add any engine mods to these cars so it's all down to setup and driving. They drive fantastic out the box despite being a little bit understeery... I've already started work on a new setup though so looking for some places to race!
 
I like it personally, I just wish it had a little more steering feel to it, my wheel feels very light when driving them, but that might be because of all the down force. It sounds really good too! (How often do you hear that being said about a car in a Gran Turismo game? :p)

This starts to fill out the gap GT has for the lower and mid Formula cars. They're great fun singleplayer, would work wonderfully online, and are a natural progression from the karts into more serious racecars (Le Mans Prototypes, for instance)

Now for GT7 if they can add Formula Ford, the '06(?) Formula Masters, maybe some Forumla BMW and Formula Renault, maybe even F3...

Not necessarily - it is possible/probable that the ideal RPM to shift up at be different from the RPM redline.

How competitive is this car in the 730 PP events? 250 bhp seems a bit underpowered even though it's light. Didn't take notice of the top speed when I drove it.
 
great car.. did the 24min of nur on it and it's just pure plasure.. can't wait the next one to come 👍

Well said. Also, in my opinion, the more cars there are in the game, the better. Removing cars from the game just seems stupid.
