I think it might have just been something that was gifted to everyone, as I got it without even having played the game in over a year.

I really hope they fix the gear shift animations for paddle shift cars at some point, because they are just so laughably bad in some cars, like the Evo X
 
They can look quite abysmal I agree. Not a gear shift animation, more like swat a fly on the wheel. Was driving the R8 and noticed that the driver is just wildly flicking his hand in mid air, not even making contact with the paddles.

There's actually a hot debate going on at the forza.net forum in the FM7 section on wheel and general cockpit animations. Drop some feedback maybe the devs check it every now and then. Worth a shot.
 


It's 40 minutes long, but I came across this interesting but honest review on Forza 6. It goes into issues with the PI system that has plagued the series and problems with the multiplayer lobbies, among other things.

It made me aware of some things I never really payed attention to and hopefully are addressed in Forza 7.
 
I've been playing Rivals A LOT lately in anticipation of Forza 7 and now the time attack leaderboards aren't showing up. Anyone else having this issue?

To be frank I never pay attention to these issues as long as the core driving experience is good. But I get the MP thing - I hardly ever pop into the lobbies because of how people drive (or crash).
