The designer(s) of the uniforms must have made a bet about which color should be at the top, or botton, yellow or blue. The wrong outcome resulted.

Please stay in your cars as much as possible.

So was I ;) What I meant was if they had the yellow on the top part of the uniform it would stand out too much against the blue cockpit area of the car.

But I would not wear yellow pants myself :D I'm Flavio just wants them to stand out and be noticed and to get people talking about it....

If the yellow extended past the waist line and formed a right triangle on the left side, that would look better.

I agree Talentless. But I think if they had taken the yellow OFF the suit all together, then it would have looked a lot better.

Man that car is ugly. I don't mind the yellow, it just looks like Hot Wheels designed their paint scheme.

That overly wide divider line between the yellow and blue kills it. The shade of cyan-blue and flat cadmium yellow also do not compliment one another. It looks like they had some kids do it.

I agree with you Talentless on the overalls but I think the Renault is one of the smartest cars in terms of design that we have seen yet [2002].

I think the car looks fine, but the uniforms... :thatsodd:

you united colors of benetton, they make clothes for other people to wear!!!!
i'm telling after what i saw, theire stock is going down definetly, especially in itally whre flavio comes from, man !! itally home of the fashion and that's what they came up with!!!!!!!!!! :cheeburga

Well, once the tabacco ad rules come into effect, we'll see the Renault in the yellow and black just like old times, right?

Funny how it's sponsored by a Japanese cig company. I guess Prost gets the French tabacco money...but not enough of it.

actually, thats one of the reasons why I really like that paint job--the divider makes it look very unique.

I also like the colors, although straight yellow and black would've been better IMHO...but, you've got to consider sponsors, and I think the blue and yellow work better then Ferrari's new sponsors ;)

RE: Prost and French tobaccy

He did have Gauloises up to the end of 2000 but managed to alienate him in his one man F1 team destruction campaign.
