I usually use the MP5 and a few grenades to take over territory but the attacks were too frequent and annoying so I gave up. I'll try once I re-enter LS. Since GT4 was again pushed(to first quarter of 2005) I'll have all the time to play SA.

You can, in "Air Raid".

I'm not going to tell you, but I thought you'd finished the main plot already Jimmy?
Actually, I've finished all of the Grove Street missions, and the first 3 missions at the Mansion. I haven't even started in the Riot Missions. I've just been doing my own sort of thing for a while. I didn't want to rush playing San Andreas, anyway. I'm happy with how I've played it so far.

Okay, I won't spill any secrets. :)

Found an Admiral and Sentinel in the same trip to the MP5 spawn point.

Go me. They're sitting nice and snug in my garage, along with a dark teal/blue RX-7 (hell with those annoying, way too similar names) and the bike with no windshield.

Has anyone found that remake of the old Mercedes S Diesels? I drove a convertible one today, but lost it after a load... Was real nice on gold wires too... :(

That reminds me - why aren't there any classical music stations in SA? I never noticed until now. 💡

You....you want...Classical Music...in San Andreas...Classical Music?!

I'm glad it's not back. They wasted a whole station by putting that in GTA 3.

they need better rock stations, ACDC yeah.

thats annoying the cars get lost after if you keep them in the garage for too long :(

I don't think I've lost any cars yet. I've had a lowrider from one of my early missions in my grovestreet house garage and its still there. The only other garage I use is the one at the garage in SF--- I've used a few others temporarily if I find a car on my export list and don't want to drive all the way back to SF.

I've been a victim of the garage eater. I took out my Stafford to make room for my FCR-900 I saved turned it off. Next day turned on the ol' PS2 and opened the garage and it was gone. All that was there was an empty space(where the FCR was) and my pimped out Huntely.

Yeah, the Prickle Pine garage ate my Bullet once. :(

I was hopeing they fixed that bug.

Only ever had a problem once. That was when I put a Bicycle in with my Lowrider at my house in Grove Street. It only occurs when you have too many vehicles in the 1 garage. Example:

Blake -- You had a Bicycle, Bullet and SlamVan (or your riced-up Elegy) in the garage. The garage is meant for 2 vehicles. Sadly they now have made the Bikes and Bicycles as vehicles, and that means it is too much for the garage. The coding only can remember too many cars for so long, and after a while it can only remember 2 cars; the number that was supposed to be in the Garage.

Blackbird -- You put an FCR-900 in with a Stafford into a 1-car garage. The same applies here.

The same applied to me with the Bicycle and Savanna.

I've now had my Savanna in the garage since almost the very start of the game. It hasnt disappeared. So don't worry, there is no "Time Limit" on the cars in the garage, just a vehicle limit. Keep that in mind when storing cars. If you really want a certain car, buy a new house and store it there. ;)

Actually when this happned I had NO other cars in my garage, just my black Bullet, no slamvan, no BMX, nothing, just the Bullet. It truely was 'eaten'.

In Hyman Condo it did. Only once to me but plenty of people have had bad experiences with that garage.

But that's when they put too many cars in there. Almost everyone had a problem with over-storage.

Apparantly, I heard the coders coded that game as a 2 and a half car garage. A bike is classed as half a car. Retarded.

I used to read various information about GTA 3 and Vice City and found a site where a lot of Coders posted, that's how I found that out. I don't know how good they are, though, that's why I said "apparantly".

Again, the one time my car dissappeared at Hyman I only had ONE car in there.

Not really, it's only ahppened to me once on each game, not as bad as some people have had. Some people have lost Love Fist Limo's there. I only lost a deluxo.

I suppose. I've only ever lost a Bicycle on San Andreas. I never lost anything on Vice City.

It happened with rare cars in Vice City, that were only supposed to appear in certain missions, so it makes me think in a coding point of view, and it makes sense. The game only ever commands the PS2 to load those rare cars (eg, Love Fist Limo, Romero's, etc), so when it has to load them in garages, it's not exactly supposed to, and pretty soon, it just won't load it. That's sort of my perspective on it.

Anyway, this is quite off-topic. Back to everyone's game progress.

88,77% right now, I have been doing the streetraces lately.

Finished the bloodring stadium event, that thing is zero fun and all luck, they should have had a real demolition derby.. with guns, right now it's plain boring.

I had a lot of trouble with the "Freeway" in L.S. and was doing it over and over. One touch is enough to spin that damn Super GT and you have to really be on top of your game cause the opposition is no push-over. The race I managed to get the win was the most fun I ever had in a streetrace in a GTA game, ever!

After grabbing the lead and holding it halfway trough I got hit in the back by a blue Banshee and was spun out. I rejoined in 4th place, then quickly passed the third place car once we got on the freeway and was closing in on the two Banshees in the lead.

One of them hit a cab hard and came flying towards me, thankfully I managed to pass under him before he hit the ground. Only one car left, that damn blue Banshee that spun me out earlier. I managed to pass him with ease but had to brake for traffic and got read ended for the second time by the same Banshee! This time I didn't totally loose it but I still lost some time as I had to get up to speed. He was pulling away and the race was almost over.

Two corners left I could barely see him. But I nailed them like I would when getting gold in a Gran Turismo License tests. The car was right on the limit, a little more and it would start to slide to much and I would loose speed. I was hoping that it would not bottom out like it had so many times before, it didn't and I had much higher exit speed then the Banshee which I was catching rapidly.

We where neck and neck over the finish line and I wasn't sure if I had won or lost it. Then I got the confirmation that I did beat him after which I had to do a little victory celebration. It was one hell of a race, thats for sure. 👍

Awesome, sounded like a great race. The street races sound like they have really improved. As for the Bloodring, well I don't know what they were thinking when they added guns into that. It's very strange.

It actually could happen with all cars in Vice City. People just talked most about losing rare cars like Romero's Hearse or Lovefist Limo because those were special ones that they couldn't get again. I've lost quite a few cars in the Hyman Condo garage. And it could happen with Sunshine Autos as well as Hyman Condo, just not as common.

Hmm, well I never had that bad luck at all. In fact I had a period for a fair while where I saved a heap of cars there, and not one of them disappeared.

:odd: ?

I didn't say there was a time limit, only the glitch ate it up.
