In OP it had 23rd as test day, practice 1 May 30th with nothing between. I looked before posting previous message, and checked again ahead of this one to see it has now been changed just to show test day May 23rd...

EDIT: Just checked original PM that went out and yeah, there is the date conflict... 5 hour warning wasn't great either, given I was sleeping for it's entirety!

At the time before I posted my edit (which was quoted by yourself), no. I wanted to know dates as I was pretty busy at the weekend and wanted to spend a bit of time looking at my setup. When I did, I checked the OP thinking that it would be the definitive place for schedule. I checked on Sunday I think it was, so I would have had time if I'd known it wasn't right. I went to do setup today and that is when I saw the 5 hour warning from last night.
 
I, too, was going off the OP, so I was caught completely by surprise when earth posted the 5 hour warning. Still, it's better than no warning at all.

I'm really hoping I got my setup sent in time. Hope to see if I'm going in the right direction with it or if I should just give up and drive the safety car. :D

I'm monitoring the balance of performance extensively. I havent changed any of the cars yet and hopefully I dont have to, but if I do find an unfair advantage or disadvantage I wont hesitate to fix it. Rest assured that extensive testing has been done in the past to equalize all the cars as much as possible.

We might as well start making predictions for the race now, it's almost race time! :D

How many cars are going to finish the race?
 
Just as I was making a post about how I would likely keep the setup if any of them managed above 5th, this happens.

I blame the #007's non-podium performance on someone getting in its way :P

They've all three fallen back a little bit, but I'm not too worried. At least we have the pace over a single lap :D
 
If a car breaks down during the race, will it be completely out of the race or will it be able to limp back to the pits to be fixed?

(Also considering my crappy luck, my car will break down during lap 1 regardless of what bonus I choose... :lol: )
 
I have sent my qualifying set up already, so there will be no further "scheduling queries" (epic whining) from me!!! Just need to do something to make cars faster now...

Its out of the race. The only thing that can be fixed is the wings. The .HDV file says broken wheels can be fixed, but I've never seen it happen.

My fault Harsk100. Totally forgot you had submitted a setup. I went ahead and ran a practice with just your cars so you could get a time on them. Wont forget them for qualifying thats for sure.

@Earth Will you provide lap time results with qualifying, similar to the practice sessions, so we can further tweak our setups, or do we pretty much just go with it at this point? My second setup missed the mark quite solidly. :rolleyes:
 
Well crap, I've got no choice but to risk making my cars worse then before.

Qualifying for both classes will be on the same days. Its possible I could live stream them

First balance of Performance Tweaks

It turns out my way of equalizing the prototypes was flawed. I had given them all the same minimum downforce setup, and adjusted gearing, corning speed and top speed from there to great success. However it turns out for whatever reason the two Turbo Diesels, the 908 and R10, have more drag when downforce is applied then the other cars.

So the 908 and R10 have received 20 more horsepower, a boost of about 5 kph top speed.

Also the Lamborghini Murcielagos all recieved 5 more horsepower which should boost top speed by about 1 kph
