So here's an interesting thing that happened:

I did some laps in the Lotus Evora GTE from the WEM mod (video of that coming soon) and when I went to watch the replay, the car had these lines all over the darn thing. So I exit out the game, open the DDS of that specific car (in this case, the #24 jetalliance car from the ILMC) and saved it with Mip maps turned on. Went back to watch the replay and voila, the Paint scheme shows up just fine. Not sure if all the cars will do that but if they do for any of you guys, open the DDS of that car in your paint program (assuming it accepts DDS files), save it with mip maps on and see if that works for you.
 
I love the Blancpain mod, I just gave it a try, I think it might be my new favourite mod.. The GTR is awesome. Is it supposed to sound like a V8 though? I thought it had a V6 in it? I know the GT500 version has a V8.. Oh and link to the WEM mod? Or is it already posted here?

It's not the final WEM version.

Leafing around.. the WEM 2.0 mod links posted a few pages back are of the unfinished version, hence the errors and missing textures.

Chaoszero has said on F1Classic no-one else can upload links and when he can upload them he will, though a new job has put it back. So it's not totally dead.

The Toyota TS030 mod is a WIP.

To follow up I did ask today if the final version would be asked and the answer was a "yes". Also there is a ELMS 2013 mod in the works, going very well.
 
Going to put up the Audi R8 video today, I just need the font for the R8 logo.

FIA GT3 2010: Overall neutral. Cuts through the corners well and very stable under braking.

Blancpain Endurance Championship: Slightly the opposite. Abit snappy in some corners, Surprisingly tricky under braking, Has the same skiddish tendency as the Gallardo.
 
Any of you guys have trouble getting the engine sounds working for the C6R GT2 and R18 in the WEM mod?

Corvette GT2 works fine for me, but I'm having that issue with the R18. From what I read in a video, Chaoszero says they had the sound files and SFX files in the right place but they just didn't work in-game as expected.
 
Anyone know of a good Spa? With at least 40+ garages for sportscar racing, anyone know of a 24hr version using both pits either?
 
After playing around with Enduracers I came up with a sort of WEC roster - LMP1 is closed cockpit cars only except for new spec open cars (AMR-One ~cough~), LMP2 is anything goes. Imported a couple via GRID mod, but this is what I am working with:

The GTR2/GTL conversions might work ok, I know they use the full pits, idk about garages though.

After I made my post, I did remember having a version of Spa that utilized the full pitlane. I don't know where to find it though.

This was on a previous computer I no longer use.

I did something like this, edited the .VEH files of about 20 P1 cars so I could have an LMP1 series. Works well, but the AMR-Ones are just soooo slow, which is a shame 'cos I love the look and sound.

In fact, part of me wants to make a 'What could have been' mod for the Aston, like an AMR-Two or something.
 
The version of Spa in the GTR2 trackpack for rFactor has space for 62 cars.

Not sure on the number of garages because the .scn file stated 3, which would be drastically off.

Edit: The GTR2 trackpack is available on the rfactor.noip site, but for some reason, whoever uploaded it put 6 copies of the trackpack in the same download.

GTR2 Spa converted doesn't have space for 62 cars in the garages. There's about 4 garages that are doubled up with cars.

Damn... Now where is a similar size Silverstone...
 
I finally figured out how to get leoffb to work in conjunction with realfeel. It has made a huge difference in the overall feedback I get. Im using the blancpain '12 mod as a testbed. Although it takes extra time if you have to add each car from a mod to the leoffb tuner database, its well worth it.
 
Finally got that 2011 GP2 mod, interested in trying that out and seeing how it feels in comparison to 2010.


Also decided to download that GTA Map. Only thing I'm curious about before I do is whether or not it kills the frame rate seeing as its such a large and seemingly expansive map.

It runs fine. It's not very detailed.
