May 24th is about 2 months to our rescheduled Mixed Class Special at Circuit de la Sarthe No Chicane on July 24th. I need to what class everyone is entering. So I will start accepting entries after the Nurburgring race.
I have fully got to adding Gr.3 and Gr4 BOP guide in the Car Regulations section. You will have to manually apply GT Sport's BOP to your ride for that. You can use this guide as a reference. Please help me this guide up to date. Alert me of any BOP changes from updates I may not know about.

How is that race going to work? Seperate GR4 and GR3 winners? Will there be an overall winner that gets a point bonus? If so why wouldn't everyone run GR3??
Nevermind, I read the main page, its an exhibition, correct? No points to collect?
Alright the next race for you then is July 10th. Gr.3 at Northern Isle Speedway.I'll be out again for this Saturdays race. I kinda figured with my work schedule that I would be more of a part-time racer than a full time racer. I'll let you know when I can race again.

This Saturday June 5th is our double points 2 hour Nurburgring Nordschleife race with the Gr.4. This is our 6th regular season race of 2021 season.
While no Racer283 won't be racing. A there is chance rhcpeppers won't get back from his vacation in time. As long as someone else shows up. I will run the race as planned.
I haven't heard from some of members in a while. I would just like to confirm how many of you are racing this Saturday. Note this race could have big Championship points consequences if you miss.
Yeah I know you and Jarkulary should be there. And the new driver from Bulgaria that signed up last month. Said he should be able to race but, the race starts 2:30 am his time. So I'm not sure if he'll show.I plan on racing

rhcpeppers said he won't be back from his vacation until 5:00 pm Saturday. But if he means by his local time. Then he will miss the start. And Racer283 is out again. That's everyone I heard from.
As for everyone else. I both tagged them and sent them messages through PSN and I have not heard from any of them.
Waiting on rhcpeppers will depend on whether or not Toshost shows up. Who lives in Bulgaria. The most Eastern entry this series has had so far. Our 7:30 pm Eastern US start time is 2:30 am in Eastern Europe. With Qualifying included the race will be close to 2 and a half hours would put are race finish close 10 pm. Which is 5 am in Eastern Europe time zone.I'm okay with waiting for rhcpeppers on Saturday if he can make it work. Not sure what his timezone is.
BTW I broke my pinky toe playing with my dog at the beach. Stepped on a rock under the water. Its my gas pedal foot which is better than the brake but its surprisingly very painful. I will do my best to stick through the whole race but if it becomes too painful I might have to drop. Hopefully it will be good!
Oh! and I got the Johnson and Johnson vaccine this morning and already feel like crap but my cell phone service seems much better for some reason. Hopefully the symptoms wont make me a crap racer tomorrow.

Nevermind Toshost may not live in Bulgaria after all. He told me on PSN he lives in the UK. I swear it shows a the Bulgarian flag for his GT Sport profile.
So I'm not that crazy. You're GT Sport profile does have the Bulgarian flag. If you plan to be a longtime resident of the UK. You can change what country your GT Sport profile displays in options menu in left corner. I think it's Sport Mode Registration. In fact I created my PSN back in Bulgaria in 2011, but I live in the UK since 2017.

Sorry stuff isn't updated yet. I get to it today.
He said something came up before the race started. I told him he should still start to get some points on the broad. Didn't mean for him to park on the track though. And have the yellow waving the entire race. I feel for that flag man. What happened to our pole sitter, why did he run the 2 opening laps then show back up at end of race? I watched the replay, he pulled over and parked starting on 3rd lap.
If my car didn't get loose on me and slide up into the grass after the first banked concrete corner I might have gotten the clean race bonus. That deal gave me a half second penalty too. I dont know how the game thinks driving in the grass there is a time saver, I can assure you it is not conducive to a quick lap.

Now that's dedication to your job right there.I'm pretty sure the flag man's arm fell off cause I saw it on the track still holding the yellow flag the last lap or 2.

Drivers may either Gr.3 or Gr.4 Class
Open Car Entry
Manually Applied BOP
Tuning Allowed
Racing Medium as 2nd tire Option
Exhibition Points
Entry for this race is now open. Please pick which class you wish to run. Exhibition Points will be awarded to both classes. You may run any car in your class. You do not have to race your regular season ride for that Class. There must be at least 2 starters in each class. If for some reason one class does not get more then a single entry. Then that class will be canceled in drivers will move to still existing class.
I will be using this race to test for a second Tire option for next season. So soft and medium tires will be available for this race.
Please no balance of power will still be a thing for this race. However I cannot have it automatically applied and run both classes. Therefore you must manually apply balance of power to your car. You may find a list in the main forum of the balance of power settings for all cars in both classes. Please use this as a reference. Besides that tuning is completely open for this race. Let the expert tuners shine for once. I can help with transmission in downforce set up. I'm not good with suspension or differential. Good luck everyone.
I've learned never to bet against Porsche. Look how well it at St. Croix C. I believe the Porsche had the slowest top speed car in that straightaways too.If I can use any car I want I will choose GR3 which would probably be a poor choice if I had to use my Porsche. If no one else picks GR3 I will happily run GR4

As for the Citroen GT is weird. It has a lot power until 7th gear. And then the power rapidly dies off. All versions of the car do that too. I guess the engine is tuned for acceleration not top speed.
As for myself I will probably run in whatever class has less entries. I think Gr.3 will be the more popular choice. The balancing for the class is better so it offers racing. I recommend you prepare a car for both classes incase. Unfortunately I think someone of our players have left without saying so sadly. And John was good too. I thought you and him would have a good points battle.
I was surprised you ran the entire race with your injury. Unfortunately consistency is very important at the Nurburgring.I am so disappointed in my Nurb performance. I was so out of it from the Vaccine. I got the Johnson and Johnson. All my wrecks including qualifying were from either dazing off or just slow reactions. I wrecked sooo many times I lost count. Ran a good percentage of the race with damage and completely screwed up my pit strategy. It was my most looked forward to race of the season and I wanted to give FastOne a run for his money. I think I had 1 good lap below a 7:15. I could have easily run that consistently. Oh well.
Where did you get the time to run 100 laps at the Nurburgring. I have no life and even I can't find that kind of time. My biggest problem getting enough laps in here to consistently and not hit anything. I did pretty good until the last lap were I had hit a wall and got front aero and suspension to one wheel about half way around. I was lucky nobody was close enough to run me down. That was the first time I ran more than 6 laps there without spinning. I practiced almost 100 laps in the last week and a half leading up to the race. I started out with a best lap of 7:18 and eventually ran some 7:10's but I wasn't going to try to race that fast.. The biggest problem I have with that track is that you really can't relax anywhere except maybe the long straight but you still need to be careful there too, all of a sudden its time to start braking and there are slow turns, direction changes, and plenty of grass and walls to hit at the end of the lap.
