We're currently going through a one in 50 year storm here in Vegas. It came out of ****ing nowhere. All I heard was distant thunder, then the rain came down harder than we've ever had it before. Then incredible gusts and my power went out. And now it's hailing. This is just crazy.

I have no idea how long it's going to stay out but just to be safe I'd like to humbly request TnJF to host and run the race in my absence. Can't believe this weather! I'm fine but brb gotta do something about this new pool I got in my backyard that's slowly trying to invade my porch. I've only ever seen rain like this in movies. Turn off the FX gosh!
Had to leave because of class, don't get why the start was an hour late.
Also the start was ridiculous,I got pushed aside at turn one (Limited visibility I understand) which is still ok,
but then someone rear ended me hard and I saw a bunch of cars go off in front of me.
phil bellI think the car has lot's of rear grip, but not much mid corner front grip.

I probably have a very stable week ahead so you should see me as a competative racer for the season opener. I hope to see a full grid. People might be turned off by this car because of how the tail tends to kick out a lot. But honestly I think everyone should ttry running through the series with this car. Easy to love and easy to hate just like a good woman. Push it right and she will make you the happiest man alive but if you stomp on her, she will tear you to pieces!!![]()

Added the replay. NTSC US, host replay.

CSL you should check out the "LOL INTERNET!" of your car in the early laps.
Yup I got blasted also just trying to give room to get through the first couple of turns as I'm in 4th and trying to not pound anyone in front of me. I couldn't tell from which direction the brick wall that hit me came from. With so many capable and fast racers around me I thought that some allowance for others would occure but no I guess the race was the first 2-3 turns and not the other 50+ min's we had left to go.
I wish I could figure out why that happend but thats life and lag. Maybe I'll just line up at the back and let you all go so I can just pick off the guys who can't keep it on the track or who feel that they have to win the race in the first few turns.
Next weeks race will have to go off without me because Little Lefty has a Go-Kart race next Sat. and Sun. so it's reality for me and the kid next week. Maybe in two weeks things will be different and more room will be given so everyone can stretch out and let real racing occure rather then a first turn CLUSTER-F. Rant over
Anyway I had a great time and got to dice w/ black and waffel a little bit as I was driving around by my self most of the race ...... lol

LOL that sounds so amusing to me for some reason.hit a spinning Wafflepants!
Oh, I get it now:idea: you're another alien.Apologies again for being so late to the room, I just completely lost track of time and jumped into the room on the off chance there had been some delays. Lucky for me there was and I was able to start from the back of the grid. I knew the car was good for 1'20.xxx laps from practice and was pretty confident it could go 37 laps with just 1 pit stop, so once I realised both CSL and Nastra were on a 2 stop strategy, I just ran steady consistent laps with a best of 1'21.6xx I believe. Even on 18 lap old tyres, I think I was running high 1'24'sAlso, luckily for me and CSL it was only light damage as we both hit a spinning Wafflepants on the start/finish straight
No idea how Nastra squeezed through, good pit crew I guess! 👍
Good pace out there on a tough track for these cars, but I think the 1 stop pit strategy was the winner here.
Agreed, understeer is killing me at Laguna, the rear can let loose if you're hard with it, but generally it's pretty easy to control. After TnJF and Wardez left the practice session tonight, I did manage a 1'21.696, but, still not happy with the car, as TnJF said, consistency is tough!! lol
Good job we've got a week to get ready. Laguna is gonna be a great race for sure!

I thought your second half run was to fast to be possible, and quite frankly, it was, between you and your tune you worked some magic, I would have been on zero for tires by lap 18 running the mid 21's. I probably could have pushed for 20's, but seemed to risky to run that hard, fickle track and all.
I have to watch the replay now.
LOL that sounds so amusing to me for some reason.
Was it the red Vette?Saw it go off in front of me at one point too.
Anyone for practice?
I think I rear ended you in the chaos when someone hit me and I had no where to go,was like "bang, bang, bang" then I saw your car right in front LOL.I made some changes to the car for Laguna, I hadn't realize that setups are still "backwards" I could barely get the damn thing to rotate at race pace.
