The trick is if you're taking the inside line, and brake to late, you're still ok, take the outside line, brake to late, and you're in the sand.

Unless of course the guy you're trying to out-brake has taken the outside line and sticks it.. Then you're the jackass who just ruined someone else's race!

Just part of the danger trying to go round someone on the outside of any corner I say.
Obviously it shouldn't happen, but it's a risk one accepts to go around the outside, and I'm a guy that loves going around the outside.:)

Oh I understand, I happen to prefer the late apex line myself, I'm just a little jaded about Andretti that's all, so many years so many games... so many off track excursions!

I have to say I drove in the div 2 Super GT series that Wardez hosts today and I was impress to all get out by the drivers. Many a time did I find myself on an outside line and was given JUST enough room to hang myself with.

Honestly my only worry about Sunday is the car setup, the little voice in my head is telling me that I need to spend more time on it... the other voice is telling that voice to shut the hell up and work on being consistent. The rest of them are forming smaller splinter groups and lobbying for how much time to allot to transmission, suspension etc..
 
Hm, not back then I guess. I'll be around for most of the day though LMS. I'm gonna do my quali. today.
 
Is it weird that I had a dream about the Andretti hairpin last night? My gf said that I started to talk and I said "Damn it, I braked to late!" lol only a GT5 fiend would have a dream like this.

Qualification will be floating format: You can choose to qualify during any time of the week after the prior race (Sunday night) up to thirty minutes before the race room opens @ 6:30.

Ok cool, if the integra race ends early I'd like to qualify right away, if not. ill start at the back again.
 
Alright, remember guys, any of the CH's can qualify you. Any Ch can get qualified as long as a registered member is observing and posts the time here.

Im not sure if I should bother with quali as I am stuck in the 24's at best while you lot are running 21's.
I do not know how else I can go faster,completely maxed out.

Ok just tested again,am very unhappy with the car.
Horrible oversteer under brakes,alot of midcorner understeer and it's very unpredictable.
I have not changed the setup much from deep forest.

Puppy got me up at the crack of dawn for a walk... I might open a quali/practice room soon if anyone is interested.

Still don't get how I can be 3 seconds off you guy's pace...

Consistency can outpace speed in these cars. You likely be passing me while I drag myself out of a sand trap at one point or another.
I would like to qualify in about an hour if a CH is available.
 
I may not be able to make this race, as I'll be busy after the Integra race.

As soon as someone is available to qualify us they should post here. I'm ready to qualify any time, by the way.

I'm running mid 23s but my car has not fully broken in. Do you think I'll make the grid?
