Okay you will need 2 rubber bands. And you do need something else small held under the bands pressing the X button. I used a pencil led case, the normal thing that led comes in. Take off the cap, take out the led (put it in your pencil) and put the cap under the rest of the case, and put one elastic around the midde part of the controller, the other around the right hand grip. Put the midde elastic on the left side of the case, and the right one on the right side.

run the escudo low, stiff and stable

Sorry, no on a regular controller....should work the same though.

Works even better when you change the controller setup to each analog stick being used. Change Acceleration to where the right analog stick goes down...then rubberband both sticks and you literally cant go wrong.

I'm not sure if you answered this or not, but what does the rubber band trick do?

You can run Superspeedway enduro...UNATTENDED! Your Escudo will just ride the walls for 100 laps and beat the competition by miles

1 hour....$200K...plus a new car

It lets you play enduros without getting board. you use the rubber bands to make the escudio turn into the wall and accelerate. you just ride on the wall at full throttle. you can walk away and it'll keep on going. good for the super speed way enduro.

look the best way is to just leave everything the same except make the throttle button the right analog stick going <--- this way. After that, if u play manual, switch it to Automatic and then get a rubberband. You have to wrap the rubberband around the 2 analog sticks twice so they're squeezed together, unless u have a small rubberband. When ur done, just leave it there for 1 hour and it should be done...

I finished GTC to get a few special licenses, thats kinda cheatin too then... not mentioning the 10.000.000 credits

Hi btw, i'm new here

ive recently sold the doubles of my cars and have purchased the escudo pikes peak version which i have suceeded in using the rubber band trick with.

i think the escudo is the only car that u can use to do the trick. All the other cars r too weak or have the wrong drivetrain. O yea, i shoulda added this...u need a 4WD car to do the rubberband trick, otherwise u'll eventually spinout with a RWD car and FWD cars simply don't have enough power to run into the wall while going fast....

So you make the controller go to the right so it hits the outside wall instead of the inside one? Im gonna do this then sell my pikes peak. Im still not sure how to set up the rubber band though. Also I have a regular controller, and what if you dont get the car you want? :(

ok i now understand. heres what u do...
1) get in ur escudo
2) turn the tcs and asm to 0
3) turn acceleraton to the right analog stick pointing to the left
4) start the race
5) during auto drive pause the game
6) wrap your rubber band around the analog sticks so that they point towards each other
7) check and make sure you didnt screw up
8) have fun instead of racin round and round
and thank you all for helping me because i think ive raced this thing somewhere close to 20 times and STILL i havent got my f1 car. glad i didnt have to race myself. :)

u don't have to turn off tcs and asm...but it doesn't matter, except u might spinout with them off...but i dunno, i'm not crazie enuf to turn them off on a track with pavement. all it does is peel out all the way to the finish line, if u make it...
