Footage on the big screen was from the real event happening there this weekend.

We went over this already. ;)

Ah thanks for the confirmation. Just awake from my sleep and seeing this post my brain just think in a snap. Will get rid of that post 👍

It's a real still image (of last year's race) from the big screen behind (well... in front of, I guess) the players. You can see it here, behind the screen showing the player feed (and the screen showing qualifying next to it):

Okay, didn't noticed it was the background image before. Sorry to cause some confusion though

It's been 1.5 years since Kaz's statement about no rain at Willow Springs, so I hope it's just an outdated statement of his and 1.5 years was enough time for the team to implement rain on every road track. Even though it doesn't rain often throughout the year at Willow, it still happens, and the GT games are made for the fun factor anyway.

I still keep on wondering when will PD eventually put more rally cars in the game. Been hoping there would be some in the last updates but so far, there's nothing yet.

I quite like the look of Sardegna (B) from that. It seems more suited to the likes of GT4 and GT3 cars but that won't stop me from throwing some Gr. C monsters, the SF19 and of course my TS050 around there.

Rain in GT Sport should be like this once it comes soon.

So, it seems we have seen all the new stuff of this build. (track, weather and cars)
I wouldn't be totally confident of that - we knew that there was a car in the Monaco version of the game, because we saw it in the screensaver mode during the Yamauchi's talk about the trophy... but it didn't appear in Brand Central.

I wonder if we will see the water moving on track, the creation of dry lines, and if on the circuits with water courses near them, the droplets will splash while hitting the water. Dont know if the PS4 can handle it. Can anyone that's seen the rain in person answer?
