There's a calm before the storm.I want to know. Have you ever seen the rain?
Man we need cockpit view footage.
I want to see those rain drops on the windshield.
Already confirmed that it's actual rain.I'm sure there won't be any. Because what we get is more wet track than true rain. Maybe a light spray from the car in front, but I'm still not convinced.
I also think it won't be VR compatible.
Anyway, I think static wet conditions are useless. It's interesting when the weather changes and you have to be strategic about your tires choices, and how you manage the evolution of the track. But start to finish in same wet conditions seems just boring to me.
For most Daily/FIA races it would be more unusual to go from dry to wet to dry in the space of a dozen laps.I'm sure there won't be any. Because what we get is more wet track than true rain. Maybe a light spray from the car in front, but I'm still not convinced.

God, I'm still bummed that I missed a chance to watch [Singing in the Rain] in 35mm a few weeks ago...

That sounds interesting. And there is also the option to drive with no rain but with a wet track. This was in time trial and the surface had more grip than when it was raining in our Nations qualifying.
It's really great. I don't even like musicals but they do some Jackie Chan level choreography in that film.
I know it is; I own a Blu-Ray copy and already watched it three times in the last two years. But watching it on actual film, it is a totally different experience. Colours are much more pronounced and textured.
Also, isn't it the other way around? How Jackie Chan was influenced by classic Hollywood cinema (most of all Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd)?
That's great, haven't seen any confirmation of that myself.Already confirmed that it's actual rain.

If may i can ask how is driving in the wet conditions, do you find it any good?
Rain only on the Red Bull track or other tracks too?And there is also the option to drive with no rain but with a wet track. This was in time trial and the surface had more grip than when it was raining in our Nations qualifying.
Rain only on the Red Bull track or other tracks too?
That's the thing I really want to know. Surely even PD wouldn't do rain on just one circuit.Rain only on the Red Bull track or other tracks too?

For everyone hoping to see water droplets:
1) Open the below video on twitter.com, by clicking the twitter logo (For some reason the quality is very low when viewing the video here and they are impossible to see, but when watched directly on twitters webpage the video quality is much higher)
2) Watch in full screen.
When seeing the original high quality video is very easy to see the rain drops coming down at 0:20-0:25, as the camera is looking toward the cars going through turn 2.
Can you tell us how do the rain physics compare to other sims?I've only used Gr B cars so far with heavy wets but the track surface is just generally lower everywhere, especially kerbs. Wet lines didn't work from what I felt but I wouldn't want to confirm that until I've had more time practicing and with a different category of car.
