The Daimler models of the Series III had different alloy wheels (I think they were called 'Kent' alloys - they had black inserts) and the grill was bigger with a different design. And obviously Daimler badges.

My dad had both the XJ6 and Daimler Vanden Plas so that's how I know. The car looks in good condition for its age.
