SCEE confirms European GT4 launch date

lol I was kidding I wouldnt steal it, my manager is way too cool, BUT, I would borrow it for a few days :)


Anywho, im heading to Gamestop right now to see the status of RE4 (which will be great also) I'll see if they have anything differant to say :)

must be a cool place to work, I know you were only kidding so was i. apart from the bit about paying somone alot of money if they could sell it too me a month early. but i know thats not possible anyway
 
okay, I just got back, We still have our Computers Saying that It comes out on February 2nd, Im going to guess that will be the official Launch date, it would make alot more sense, especially if the UK's launch is the 25th, im willing to bet thats going to be the Official date

Just pre-ordered it at bestbuy, they had feb 16th up a few days ago, now they have march 16th up... I would much rather the 2nd of next month, but I do believe that its coming out in march.
 
Due to the lack of consistency (website claims it to be an "official" date, sony UK site didnt update it?...) in each of the many pointless threads on release dates (aside from a few smart ones, such as Dec 28, japan release), I won't beileve anything until Gamestop calls my house and tells me to pick up my copy. Period.

If these threads are pointless, then why do you visit/post on them?
 
No Americans can ever EVER moan about any releases dates.. come on guys you get EVERYTHING before Europeans almost all the time.

As someone pointed out above... MGS3... you've had that for at least a month already.. we still have 1-2months to wait for it... the same is like this for most games... plus films...

I'm glad that GT4 might actually reach us first... we're the consumers who need the flattery of extra products such as Prologue and the earlier release dates... we get almost everything last despite having far more people available to buy the games :P

Because I get my hopes up, then come to realize that again, nope, this "official" release date sucks almost as bad as the other ones do. At least this thread wasn't a "I checked Amazon, and it said..." thread. So I guess I'll give credit to the starter of this. It's just that, after seeing the Sony UK site, if it was an official date, they better have it updated on their page, but it was different from that of the article.

If this is real though, I'm just disappointed that Sony UK didnt update their release date yet, that's all.
 
Of all the date i've seen thrown about only the 25th looks likely as its a Friday when all new relaces are out, no dates i've before that are on a friday and no dates i've after the 25th are.........so just hopping for best and hope i don't die of broaden reading Relaces date threads :crazy:
 
try living in NZ!we don't get ****!im still waiting for any tokyo xtreme racer street racing syndacate e.c.t and we only just got automodellista wich sucks!the only racing games we get are rally wich can get a bit boring sometimes in my oppinion and everything that does come out comes out months after other countrys.we had to wait 6 MONTHS for GT3!!!

I will trust the latest release date when i´m standing in front of my local dealer, the hairs on my arms will stand up, my eyes will start to fill with tears of pleasure, my stomach will hurt and my knees will be shaking.

My mouth will start to permanently drool and there will also be some anger in my head (because i got *****d up at least 6 times by fake-release dates from sony).

I will give the 30 Euros to my dealer but i will not really believe in what i just bought !

Al least it could be another fake ! When inserting the DVD there could be a little comic version of Kazunori, telling me to be patient ! He would inform me, that the release date had to be cancelled because of a little problem with the DVD. Someone had found out, that it could be dangerous to swallow the DVD in one piece or to plug it in your ear or something like that.

Then this little Kaz would tell me, that this is just a new pro-prologue and that the final Version of GT4 will be released before Xmas 2005.

Think about it :dopey:

Don't panic. It could be a mistake... I'm just a little worried because the date the article was posted was later than the last one that says Feb. 25th. It could be a mistake though. I hope... :sick:
 
Hmm I am still getting a 3rd of March date from my Australian retailer, so really I can't believe a damm thing with all these conflicting dates. Just give us the damm game already!!!!!!!
 
If that release date is true, and the US still gets the game after Europe...then theres a good chance we (the use) wont get it until At least April, Pitting it up against Forza like I said.

I give it 2 more weeks of bobbling back and forth until I import it, Thanks to Maskrider I wont have to worrya bout navigating Menu's or anything of the sort.
