im still going to have to go with that until I hear something Official directly from sony (which they say is their source)

My theory is that since they got a Confermation before us (February 22nd was never an "official release date announced from sony" or there wouldnt be so many differant dates" Im going to bet my 3 used cookies on the US getting it in April Along with Forza almost right along side it.

Only reason im so confident is watching the Consistant Delay of the 2, All the times Forza is delayed GT4 gets delayed to the same month or close (March to April has been the furthest seperation of the 2)

Every country seems to have a Confermed Release except for us which leads it to further speculation.

All Sony has Said about the US Release is:

"it will be out Q1 2005" go to any site, search for it, Sony has Never stated Feb 22nd. there will be NO~DELAY because there is NO~RELEASE~DATE they dont have to announce a Delay so dont expect one, Just expect a Release date Set, at some certain point in time,

You will get no delay from Sony because they havent set a release since the Janruary Delay, by them saying "Q1 2005" isnt that odd? The game is already out in japan, and has a confermed release date themselves for Europe, isnt it odd to not even have a month specified for a game that should be 100% complete?

Does that look familiar? it should because thats exactly how GT4's delays have been.

bad rant .. im pmsing right now :-/

im an avid reader on the boards and a conservative poster. Right now im really mad If they delay the game back to march 25 or w/e i might as well forget about the game. All the hype put into the game has just about left my body. Even though japan got gt4 it looks as if we still have to wait a couple months before we do. Mabey they will do a surpise attack! and realease it on feb 2nd. If not its going to be really hard to cope with everything.

Well February isn't soon enough for me!!! I've got my PS2 chipped, but it's the really old NEO 2.2 chip (i had to get it cos i got the oldest model of the PS2 Xmas 2000 version i think it is) which has trouble reading imported/copied DVD disks, so im paying 200 pounds for a new silver chipped PS2 with the lastest chip so i can play Gran Tursmo all weekend. I live in the UK, but the shop im going to also has all the US games in it so im also getting Metal Gear Solid 3 as well as GT4 on Saturday!

it really upsets me to see that when people read "Q1" they think of April being the last month of the first quarter. March 31 would be the actual end of the Q1, there are not 16 months in a year, Q1 = Jan-March, i think you all understand now, anyway im putting my money on Feb for the US release. guy at EB games said he talked to a Sony rep who told them definitly in feb, thats what im going with.

That Can easilly mean that the game wont be ready for production until February, I base this off the fact they say that they say the game will shipt WITHIN a month of Forza, So yes, Im still saying March. Also add:

"Regardless, the game is but a few months away, again."

February is next month, not "few months" They mean that Sony plans to have the game "done" in february, probably shipping early / mid march.

since it says "within a month" im going to guess US will pick it up within the first week of March, with the PAL release following Just after.
