Hell yeah, that's what I'm talking about. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to take these meaty RPF1s and NT01s off my RX7 and bolt them up to my FR-S. Straight-pipe that boxer, set it on some quality coilovers, and buddy I'll be set. Hell yes.
 
This is honestly the most excited I've been over a new car since I've had my license. I've yet to see this thing's performance but I'm expecting it to equal or better the NC Miata. I like the NC, don't get me wrong, but I would honestly rather have this I think.

I'm with you on that.

Unfortunately I can't get one right away, but I'll look on the bright side here. By the time I can afford one, they'll be pretty cheap and the second generation will already be out. :lol:

I'm in the same boat, I'm very very excited to see this car around in the future, and hopefully get one down the road.

EDIT: Bogus. Damn, that might be a deal killer right there.
 
FR-S -> Well, so much for looking like the concept. Toyota even bothered on deleting those cool toggle switches from the 86/GT 86/BRZ. But I do like this pic from Carscoop:

-> Otherwise, out of all four of them (GT86, FR-S, 86, BRZ)...I'd take the BRZ. Why? Boxer engine, boxer burble sound equals Subaru in my opinion. :sly:
 
Yes! They dun fixed some of it!

Not really digging the Lexusy look of the front with all that blocked-off grill. I wonder what kind of aftermarket look would be available to cut down on some of that. You know they designed it with a FMIC in mind.

Anyway, this looks pretty cool so I'm just praying it's big-man friendly.

Integra? I thought those were 4x100. Some Scions (TC?) have 5x100, but I'm guessing FR-S is gonna have Subaru center bore.

Late-model ITRs were 5x100. But never mind, because I didn't realize WRXs were 5x100. That means there's plenty of gnarsty fitments out there. This is an important consideration when shopping for a new car! :p

I can see a set of CR Kais on my FR-S right now. I can feel it in my pants.

Oh, sure. Gonna hang on to some 5x100 sti rims I have laying around a bit longer - as a starter autox wheels to get a feel of the car.

It'll also lower the Cg, lower the weight, reduce the number of potential failures, and allow for a more rigid roof structure. If my air conditioning worked worth a damn I would never even use my sunroof.
 
So I know somebody who knows the MSRP. Unfortunately that's probably as far as its going. If I find out, that's also as far as its going.
