I have saved every replay so far except Monza which I missed. Maybe I'll try my hand at some pics tonight after work. Probably won't be to Ace's standard though.

Need to trade in that ds3 for a wheel. It just feels natural and makes GT5 or any racing sim much more enjoyable.

I tried a wheel, the logitech that everyone raves about. I felt like i'd lost all capacity of mental thought and control using it, like any skills i had with the game just vanished. I hated it, sold it for a mega profit and carried on with the good old DS3 !

Yea, then my wife would tell me "you've completely gone insane on buying that"! after she see's me racing with it! hahaha!

I bought a logitec driving force wheel after about 2months of using gt5. I'd practise on the wheel but I'd always race online with the DS3 as I thought I was more consistent. Then as this series approached I thought I'd bite the bullet and go with the wheel and I've never looked back!
(Except when plates on my tail)

Totally different to sy, I got my DFGT before GT5 came out, about the time of F1 2010, so been using it the whole time, its very good, definitely recommend it

Thats the same thing my wife was saying after I built me a rig. I always played racing sims on the pc so I had a decent set-up for my wheel at the desk. Then GT5 and GT Academy came around and I didn't have a comfortable way of using my wheel for GT5 so I built me a rig. My wife said, "you look ridiculous in that thing." Now that all is done and made it to the finals in Orlando thanks to my rig, she looks at it a bit differently now. I love my sim racing so it was just a matter of time before I built a dedicated rig anyway. I explained to my wife that sim racing is a lot cheaper way of racing than actually building my own car. I think she understands now. Somewhat at least.

Oh, and the wife likes to call my rig the "Stimulator"

Well, not really that cool with the first race being run reverse grid, especially as I had pole, but mistakes happen and I'm more than happy taking race 2 so alls good. It was a good battle in the first race with xpower, plate and xuxuoisx (Chris). The trouble with the nurburgring, u just know it's gonna get messy at the chicane, barriers all over the place, silly penalties, xpower coming coming from a mile back and getting past you. Seriously xpower, your were pretty awesome through that chicane!!

Great first race, really enjoyed race 1, it was hot, with a few incidents, but very enjoyable. I'm sure race 2 was good out front, but i got taken off on the chicane of lap 1, so missed it, and came a poor 4th, although i did have a good short chase, then race race with Ace.

I was the one that took you out at the chicane on race 2. It was an accident and I am sorry it happend. It was in not on purpose in any way. I also let you take the track in front of me after the incident putting you in 5th and me in 6th, again I apologize and I dont want you to get the wrong idea about this series, everyone is a clean and good racer.

I know, I'm not annoyed at you, it just kind of ruined my race, I did it to myself last week, but I was hoping to equal the previous race's performance, I'm not near the lead of the championship, so I'm more in it for fun, and well done to plate and Sy

Race 1 was interesting. I made a few mistakes I don't normally make. I drafted sy to the outside line of the chicane and got a very slight bump from him. I know it wasn't intentional, but was enough to put my right side tires in the grass and off I went. Really tough to pass in a 4 car battle. Once I found my opening I was gone.

Race 2 was more fun for me. Got a good view of uxious and torzilla gettin crossed up entering chicane. After that I was chasing down xpower and sy. Then came the epic battle for about 3 or 4 laps between xpower and I. If I could have got away I may have had something for you sy.

Don't understand why Race 1 line up was off? Reverse grid wasn't added until 2nd race. But anyways, good win for Plate and Syjones...Excellent Drivers! 👍

xUxiousx..Good lil battle we had there for a couple laps....hit the brakes too late and ended up in the grass area...when you passed me. Stupid mistakes.

Yeah, race 1's settings were correct. When i changed the grid settings for race 2 i did a check and it was all correct. Just an unfortunate glitch it would seem.

Two 3rd places wasn't what i was hoping for to be honest. I always knew Plate and Si would be tough to catch, let alone beat but for this circuit i was quite confident of maybe a 2nd place in one race. I'm glad i got to battle with the top 2 players though, it was good stuff and really enjoyable.
I think i've finaly got my car balance right too. My tyres didn't start to lose their edge until lap 9. Normaly it's about lap 6 or 7. In race 2 i ran wide when i was close to Plate entering the hairpin that is only used on that circuit formation. From their on it was impossible for me to catch Plate but i'm sure if i hadn't made that one mistake i could have maybe challenged him for 2nd
