I wonder why they were removed. I hope they bring them back in some DLC, I loved actually knowing the real life landmarks. That and the Seattle track was straight awesome.

I live in Seattleand yes I want a cookie, make it chocolate chip.
Yes, another unexplainable loss.I wish Tsukuba would have had weather change. They already had the wet track from GT4, now make it rain.
I liked Seattle a lot and New York was pretty good much better than the New York on Forza but I would rather have El-Capitan than New York.
I also wish they would bring back Motegi and Infineon.

I'm going to get flamed on this...but for the 3000000th time: I want the Hong Kong track back with updated landmarks. lol
Yea, the Seattle track was sweet. But where was the rain? They need to bring it back with weather

Why not have both? A combined version could even be possible as they share part of their layout as I previously wrote. Actually I can't understand why they didn't include both of them beacuse of that. It's not that it would have been too much additional work (since they took the time to go there and scan/photograph the area again for GT5):You and I must be the only people who liked the Hong Kong track. I also much prefer the old Rome circuit.
I think the intention was to give each game a little bit of a unique feel to it by including circuits that are only driveable in that game. GT2 has Grindelwald, Red Rock Valley and Pike's Peak. GT4 has New York, El Capitan, Citta di Aria and Costa di Amalfi. As the core gameplay model doesn't change too much from game to game, the most popular circuits - like Grand Valley, Deep Forest and Tokyo R246 - remain consant while others are game-specific. I wouldn't be too surprised if Gran Turismo 6 comes around and we discover that Madrid, Cape Ring and Toscana Rally have all been discontinued.I wonder why they were removed. I hope they bring them back in some DLC, I loved actually knowing the real life landmarks. That and the Seattle track was straight awesome.
I actually think its tragic that Seattle was left out. My favourite track since it appeared in 2. It was my test track. Every car I got was put through it paces on that track. It had everything except long sweeping bends which was just right up my street.
One bad thing about Seattle were the jumps in the steep uphill section. I don't think that jumps have a place in road racing in a simulator. Most cars would be out of use after one or two of them.Yeah Seattle had almost everything you would want to dial in your setup. The mix of different elevations and corners would really show what your car had.
If memory serves me right it had a semi long high speed right.
I loved Hong Kong... then again I loved Paris too so...I'm going to get flamed on this...but for the 3000000th time: I want the Hong Kong track back with updated landmarks. lol
