I always thought I was on my own with Seattle, it was my favourite track would love to see it back. :(

Seattle was one of my favorite tracks from GT3 (never had GT4) and hope to see it as DLC at some point. I think they would need to make a few changes though. IIRC, the Kingdome was a major landmark on the track. A new one would need Safeco And Qwest fields!

I would LOVE to see Seattle again, and in interest of staying true to the demographics I want it to rain!

I actually think its tragic that Seattle was left out. My favourite track since it appeared in 2. It was my test track. Every car I got was put through it paces on that track. It had everything except long sweeping bends which was just right up my street.

El Capitan is another. I just hope to god that they're made available as DLC.

exactly! Bring them back. Do you hear me PD? Please hear me!

I know its probably been mentioned a million times before but I miss Red Rock Valley. I will admit though doing the GT All Stars Professional on Seattle Reverse was the highlight of GT3.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for them to bring Seattle back, it was probably my favorite track. That being said, I would trade a vital organ for them to put in Spa Francorchamps.

I never understood the love for Red Rock. There was only one challenging sequence of bends; the right-left flick before the final turn. And even then, it was only challenging because it was a departure from every other corner on the circuit.

seattle, midfield nad the old test track from gt 1&2

come on, cape ring already covered red rock, we dont need red rock now :sly:

Seattle, yes please. New York, no, not too bothered.

But for free DLC I'll take what I can get

I really wanted Seattle and El Capitan to be included and I would have liked to see the Hong Kong track from GT4. The lack of the New York circuit doesn't bother me much though.

Seattle - Yes
New York - Don't care, didn't like it

I also miss Apricot Hill, and wouldn't mind having Midfield and Motegi back.

Man I'm shocked at all the love for Seattle, I honestly thought I was one of a very few folk that actually liked that track. To think of the mediocrity we were given instead of the likes of Seattle and El-Capitan just boggles the mind. Actually all the tracks dropped from GT4 is just too saddening. Just what were they thinking?👎

Of all the issues/problems with the game, this kills me the most.

They could bring back Seattle but just add a chicane going up the hill to avoid the jumps.

I'm not surprised about the general consensus on seattle, it was probably one of the best missing tracks from GT4. I also miss Seoul, Hong Kong, midfield and special stage route 11, among others. Damn was ssr11 fun.
It's a bit weird they removed so many tracks, I'm no dev myself so this is purely speculation but while some of the GT5 tracks are visually amazing, some look like they're just HD versions of their GT4 counterparts and dont look like they took very long to be updated, like Trial mountain.

New York is probably the worst and most boring track ever, no thanks. Wish we could get some nice scenic tracks based on real world locations, like Hawaii. driving/racing on a mountain overlooking the ocean and scenery. That would be truly amazing and breathtaking.

I dont understand why they dont just bring ALL past tracks and continue to build-out from there....

Its like releasing Call of Duty games without the previous games maps... It boggles my mind. If anything the content should be Additive.

New york was crappy.

When I first heard about it, I was automatically thinking of racing down the Brooklyn Bridge.

Actually, MW1 maps were left out and brought back as DLC.

This is the worst GT5 related idea I've ever heard. You can't be serious.

There were complaints that the jumps were unrealistic. It was a response to that.

However, I do fall into the category of not liking the jumps. As has been said, if mechanical damage is implemented, these jumps would be the end of your car. I prefer "epic air" to be enjoyed in other games.

I think the biggest crime was never working on SSR11, the GT1 version.

I was of the camp that the Seattle jumps weren't "realistic" but now w/ Cape Ring and the inclusion of that big jump.. I know it's not realistic but my gosh it's fun! I'd love to have Seattle back, jumps & all!

I actually enjoyed New York, Hong Kong & Seoul. I'd love to have ALL the tracks back really. I loved that rally version of the El Capitan track. I thought that was awesome! I know people are against DLC but I'd give anything to have the opportunity to download all of the old tracks from past GT games. I'd think this would be a gold mine for PD, why not make them available? They have the assets! Come on Kaz...

Thing is, GT4 had more tracks and track variety.
Why should GT5 have less of them so that Sony/PD could charge us with paid DLC?

Used to love racing up the hill in Seattle, setting my Evo 6 up to land in a drift round that top right hander

I too love the Seattle course. It's partly because I live in Seattle.

Seattle it a city undergoing change in the vicinity of the Seattle track. The Kingdome has been demolished for several years, and the
Alaskan Way Viaduct, such a prominent feature, is scheduled to be demolished and replaced by a tunnel.

Perhaps the Japanese developers, always keenly aware of happenings in Seattle, are content to remodel the Seattle Circuit in some future edition of the game.
