Well, I was under the impression that the 2nd surgery would be my last. I was wrong. After I healed from the 2nd surgery, my doctor saw that my progress hadn't been what he had anticipated. We've talked about sticking metal pins in my ring finger to get more use out of it, or just just amputating it. We went ahead and agreed that a tendon transfer would be best for me. I'll be having one tendon removed from my pinky (your pinky has two tendons) and hooking it to my ring finger. This way, if my pinky straightens, so will my ring finger.
The goal of the surgery is simply to give the hand a better more normal appearance and to give some sort of movement to the ring finger.
So, is somebody typing for you right now or are you typing these things out yourself? If you're doing it yourself then I have the utmost respect for you, bro! You type better with one f-ed up hand than most people on the internet do with 2 good hands.
Hope everything heals accordingly with your hand! So, I guess in order for you to play GT5, you'll have to get a DFP or G25 then since playing with the control pad is out of the question?
