Selling cars to other players - idea

Hi. Do you think it would be nice to have the opportunity to sell your cars to other players in GT5 (P)? Maybe something like Ebay...

Yes, you are absolutely right . I hope they will fix the online problems very soon...

Hmmmm, you can swap saves for free...so why would you ever sell things? I remember on GT3 it took forever to get F1 cars but people were really happy doing it...

Like Forza 2s auction house? I haven't played F2 myself but from what I understand, players could put their cars up for auction and other players would bid for them over Xbox Live.

It's an interesting idea, one I would like to see put into the GT franchise, especially if they put in their own Forza style livery editor, then we could buy peoples creations off them.

The problem here is that the cars in Forza 2's auction house were custom, they were tuned and they were kitted and painted. All the cars in GT5 are stock and only stock, so I see no point in it, you arn't buying anytihng differnt to what you get from the dealers.

Think this maybe more for GT5 rather than Prologue, but i like the idea

I agree, but once the full version is out and we can tune and set up cars for whatever, I reckon this will be a good idea. Could even use lap times / Drift score as selling points

I agree with that. If there's something personal that can be done to the cars then there's a very valid rargument for an auction house type option, be it as deep personalisation as Forza or just a car with your own choice of parts and settings.
