It has come to my attention that Scaff does not have a quality posts flag by his name! This is criminal, as I am sure we have all benefitted from his knowledge, his easy to follow instructions, and his love-thy-neighbour attitude.👍

Thus I am starting SERP: The "Scaff's Earned Rep Points" Campaign.

So whenever you see one of Scaff's erudite, thoughtful, carefully argued and fully proven posts:

USE THE RED TICK!!

All Moderators have the ability to have the badge automatically, but it seems they want to get the badge properly. The Admins got them straight away because Jordan had the time to put them there for them, as with the Moderators he didn't.

So, I think all active Moderators should get the badge, not just Scaff.

What ever happened to working for recognition, if such a thing has any logic. I was the first to question Mods having it automatically at first, without even summing up points. But hey, what do I know? I'm not even Premium

Well its overlooked but its also abused too among some who do know how to use them. Really, whats the good of the rep point though?

SERP is still a good idea anyway. How about renaming it this -

With all due respect to Scaff and a few other mods that don't have 300 points, this "backscratching" situation was exactly what Jordan and the Admins wanted to avoid when the Reputation System was enabled.

Except (and this is my point) no-one can deny the sheer quality of Scaff's posts, and (and this is my other point) the rep points system is largely being ignored except for the "cool kids" in the school (so to speak).

As noted by pupik (aka “Daddy&#8221, we don’t encourage “drives” to give or take certain members’ reputation points – I agree that Scaff is very deserving, but we can’t have a bunch of threads saying “Give so-and-so points!” or “Take away so-and-so’s points!”
