Sharkport help

My sharkport just arrived today and I'm having trouble installing it. I was able to load the drivers but the actual program won't install on my computer. Can anyone help me or give any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

i got mine yesterday and installed it fine, i get an error message when i click to open it...i think its just beacuse u need the gameshark2 version4 to use it...where did u get ur sharkport from?

i finally got it installed but i'm having trouble trasfering the saves back to y ps2. can anyone tell me how or give a link to detailed instructions?

Yes, I am also getting the new Sharkport that works with Gameshark Version 4. Anyone got it to work yet/know how to use it???

Hy guys, why do you need the sharkport to be compatible with gameshark. I have used mine without the need of a gameshark. Mike Myers the problem you have with transfering your saves to the PS2 memory card might have to do with this. You should start your PS2 with the sharkport disc inside at the same time or shortly after you boot your computer. This is how I do it. If you get an error saying something like USB error, it might be that of what I'm talking about. If your problem is that you don't know to transfer your save do this:
When you open up the sharkport it shows you three tabs at the bottom of the screen. Select the one that says PC Database. Once selected it will show the saves ready to be transfered to your memory card. I the one you want isn't there you should select the button that says import saves and browse for it. If the save is already in the PC Database select it by clicking on it and a check mark should apeaer besides the save selected. After that click on the Restore button. That should send your save to your memory card. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately that is all wrong.

First off, you absolutel HAVE to use Gameshark version 4 at the same time as this, or else the sharkport will not function. That is why the second guy gets the error. The first guy is probably because he did not plug in his sharkport at the correct time during installation, and now his computer is not recognizing it. Uninstall it, and then reinstall following the directions carefully.

These guys if they just recieved their sharkports, are recieving the version made by madcatz. So for the guy who asked if anyone got it to work yet, yes I have, and i can use it with MK's with some patience.

I have a guide on how to make it work. You will need a PS2 "SAVE BUILDER" which you can find a link to on my web page. Find the link to my website in my sig and find my guide to using the new sharkport. Go to the link in that article and search for the save builder, and then read my guide and follow it. Then you bought a used old one. The one that is available from gameshark currently only works if you use a gameshark version 4 in your playstion while you use the gameshark software on your computer.
