Shelby Cobra

Hey guys i was wondering if any of u here knew if the shelby cobra was faster then the corvettes of the same year. im arguing with a friend about it. so what do u guys say?? vette or cobra?? both 427's and stock.

Looks like the Corvette was putting out a few more horse power, but I would assume the Cobra was faster on the track. Afterall, it was winning international races at the time.

Yea see i dont get y my friend doesnt get it. its liek no matter how many time i show him how it would be faster he just says yea well they dont kno what there talkign about. even after i show him official times. and i dont really care witch he thinks is faster becasue i kno the cobras faster but it gets unde my skin that no matter how many times i prove it he doesnt believe me lol. well neway, ne other support to help make this hopeless soul believe in the truth would be great lol

wasnt the cobra a race made car so it would be alot lighter then a vette and it has a 427 and didnt the vette have a 427?

Both had the 427 in '67, but only the cobra was faster
