Should gt6 be free?

I'm having trouble taking your ridiculous pontifications seriously, but lo and behold I'm making the attempt anyways.

WELL prior to GT5 release Kaz said that Matchmaking and Online leaderBoards will be implemented through UPDATES .I dont see where it was mentioned it was suppose to be in the game from day one..

WELL you see, I'm looking all over the game box and manual at this very moment, and I just don't see the words "Matchmaking and Leaderboards to come Eventually" anywhere on it.





And the funny thing is, even if they were on there and even if Kaz did say that, all that would mean is that the game... er... was released in an incomplete state. Which it is still in. Which is what I said.


So... way to waste everyone's time?

Now, if you want to get back to me after the game has leaderboards, matchmaking and whatever other stuff is promised on/in the game's packaging, feel free. But as it is now GT5 is unfinished, and it was even moreso when it first came out.

The only thing that was promised that they didnt give us was "Export of replays to YouTube"
And ofcourse there was an article somewhere about why this couldn't be implemented .

Do they contain all of the features listed on the back of the box? You seem to think that this is a subjective viewpoint that I'm arguing because "GT5 is so horrible compared to NFS" or whatever. Its not. Complete/Incomplete is an objective standard, and several people in this thread have been acting as if it wasn't so they can further their arguments.

This has been pondering my brain for a while now. Do to the fact that we spent money on an incomplete game which was extremely away from kaz's principles do to him wanting gt5 to be perfect but was forced to release it no where near his expectations. The people who have bought gt5 should atleast get gt6 for free or at some kind of discount. Its hard to see it be free I know but a discount seems more reasonable dont any of u think?

Dirt 3 is pretty much complete (as is GT3, GT4, F1 CE) for what it set out to do... as oposed to GT5... and bug free too...

I can't speak for Tornado, but I enjoy GT5, but that doesn't mean I'm going to turn a blind eye to all of it's faults, or that I like the direction the game has (or hasn't) taken.

It's the assumption that everyone who says negative things must hate the game that furthers the propaganda.

1. It says Lobbies/Matchmaking .. Thats basically My Lounge
2.Leader Boards ... I dont see online Multiplayer leaderboards Im guessing hmm Drift Trail leader boards time trial leader boards ? 💡 ( Remember this is a Japanese game so things arent as specific when translated)

No, I'm calling for anyone and everyone to have constructive criticism for the game and its' creators. Here's what I won't do, engage in a pointless 'battle' with you, Sir, as you seem to enjoy them. I agree on the "there shall be no bugs!"-part. And if they exist they should be worked at.
The "missed tracks and features"-part was confusing though. Maybe it was a demand from someone that don't like the whole GT-concept.

If I didnt like the GT concept I wouldnt be asking for all the tracks they dropped from the franchise... like the original rome circuit (IMO better than the current, Paris, Korea, El Capitan... etc, etc, etc...)

Missing features... well a realist damage model is first the one that pops to mind...

And I'm probably not the only one that have fallen in love with the new Rome. As stated in a other thread its one of my new favourite maps.

That same glitch was in Dirt 2

Theres a gymkhana Glitch were you get almost an unlimited amount of points when you go in the spin section (Spin on the corner so You never get all 3 triangles just do it until it gets stale then do a drift or doughnut and do the spin again you will get alot of points)
Thing is Dirt 3 isnt as big as GT5 so alot of stuff dont get found and posted online
I found more glitches in Dirt 3 and Shift 2 by myself then I did on GT5
Most of the GT5 glitches I found about on here and I doubt I wouldve found them on my own

Let's say GT6 was free for download on the PSN. You would then have to buy each car from the PSN, or pay for ingame currency.

I'm fine with paying $60 for a product I support 100%, even if I'm not happy with a couple of small issues. The game, scratch that "Driving Simulator" has had me hooked since they came out with the first Gran Turismo.

Matchmaking means the game supports specific functionality related to multiplayer, and the My Lounge feature does not emulate that functionality.

No. Its incomplete because the game's packaging says it should be in the game and it still isn't. And, ironically, it is also incomplete (albeit using a slightly different definition) because the game (according to Kaz, apparently) was built with certain functionality in mind that the game hasn't had patched in yet.
