Starfield art book from Dark Horse. Say what you will about the game itself (I like it), I appreciate good sci-fi art. The book is far bigger than I expected it to be and it seems to cover absolutely everything in the game.

Thanks to comics I’ve supported on Kickstarter and artists I support on Patreon, I’ve got quite a few art prints I’ve received in the mail as rewards. Lately I’ve been buying small frames so I can put them on my wall. Almost all of them are 4x6 inches (102x162 mm).

Mira, Rumi, and Zoey from KPop Demon Hunters by Yoshi Yoshıtani
Three “snake witches” by Yoshi Yoshıtani

Friedbaens’ OC Alice as the Tarot card The Empress, promo card for Mira Ong Chua’s self-published graphic novel “The Prince in the Basement”
Two from Mike Maihack’s print club on Patreon: Supergirl (Kara Zor-El) with her bestie Batgirl (Barbara “Babs” Gordon) and their cat Streaky; Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk

This image of Hawkgirl by Mike Maihack will be arriving in the mail soon. It will be going in one of the red frames.

You made the right choice. The PS5 + Switch 2 combo is the way to go this gen imo.

Cancelled my gamepass recently.
I'm still on the fence between Switch 2 and Steam Deck (as I have been for about a year). Waiting to see a few more NS2 games before I commit one way or the other. There are some nice racing games that look to run reasonably well on the Deck, so it's probably the favourite at the moment.

Yeah the steam deck is always tempting - especially with all those crazy steam sales that seem to be never ending.

Nintendo games tho....

I sold XSX too.

Now I have only Mario Kart from NS2 - any suggestions what to buy from actual sales?
I can afford only one for now.

Most wanted is Zelda Breath of the Wild, but is sooo expensive, everywhere.

I just bought the Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 remasters as I missed them back in the day and they are excellent!

You can talk about Mario Kart World here:

Another day and another UHD delivery.

I’d totally forgotten about this release until I’d seen it online being mentioned. So grabbed it.

If you’re a clubber from the 90s then you’ll know.

Couple of Carolina Panthers jerseys. So any fans out there, now that there is a glimpse of a silver lining with the teams form this year. Feel free to blame me for ruining that. Its completely fair.

Got Tetairoa Mcmillan #4 in blue and Jalen Coker #18 in white.

I've reached the "buying multiple versions of the same release" level of physical media collecting. The steelbook just looks amazing and the other has the Orthochromatic (Black & White) cut which just seems to work so well with Godzilla movies.

Also happy to report Criterion's customer service is 11/10.

Argos at it again....

Was looking for a cheap gaming (ish) laptop/pre-built desktop for my eldest son just to dip his toes into the world of light PC gaming, being his first no doubt he'll break it so I didn't want to go mad.

Was keeping an eye on 3x asus laptops, the A15 the A16 & the V16 so nothing to special & all around the £700-£850 mark, however overnight while sitting in my basket they shot up to £850-£1000 for no reason, they wasn't on special before it's just argos ripping people off before Xmas.

I know they all do it but this annoys me, the laptops in question are not worth the new price so I started looking at desktops & this time I got a photo of an overnight price rise.

Yesterday's price

Overnight increase of £300 for no reason whatsoever, scummy tactics that shouldn't be allowed.

More likely that they're bumping those prices back upto original RRP before dropping them back down for Black Friday season. They've got to show the item has actually dropped in price.

Now Black Friday is a thing here, they know few people are buying electrical stuff early November as they're all waiting for end of the month BF "deals".

I said to wife we should've bought something PC related for his birthday in July because I knew this would happen around this time of year, problem was he didn't want a PC/laptop then because it's summer, now it's winter he wants to hibernate.

Man, oh man. I can’t believe what’s going on with the consumer electronics industry and the prices. The DDR5 ram kit I bought last year has doubled in price, and all flash and SSD memory is starting to go up.

My OS level 500GB SSD is acting up, so I went with something a bit more modern. The one I have came in a prebuilt from 6 years ago and was from a questionable manufacturer I can’t begin to remember. This will aid well with the Samsung 9100 Gen5 I have, and will keep my OS with enough breathing room and storage space.

I’m keeping an eye on the DRAM prices just in case I need to pull the trigger on a 5090, but this is just getting worse and worse.
