Part one of my NES emulator station build has arrived!
Intel Atom something, already gave it the upgrade to 2GB, perhaps I'll go and scavenge a small SSD for it.
I'm still waiting on the SIM (and the case and screen protector; USPS struck again) but without having made a call yet, the device itself is great. I don't think you'll find anything better in the price bracket it's in now and my only real complaint is — at least in Midnight — it's a fingerprint magnet.
A dark smoke visor for my HJC helmet. It looks way cooler I think, although the "real" reason is that my clear visor has gotten a very small - but annoying as heck - stonechip dead on in the middle of my viewing angle.
And lastly;
A pair of Trik Moto Air Mesh gloves. I don't really have any reason for buying these in particular, other than needing a pair of summer gloves with some protection, as it's getting quite a bit hot with the thick winter gloves now.
Next on my list of stuff-I-should-really-get-done-on-the-house-but-have-been-putting-off is to straighten a few of the glass panels around my veranda which aren't aligned correctly. Each one is around 20Kg and so manoeuvring them by hand is precarious at best. So I've ordered two glass suction cups each with a 60Kg rating as the glass sits about 25 feet above the beach and I don't really want to pay for replacements and clear up large amounts of smashed glass.
Also, I want to see if I can climb up any large glass structures.
Replacing my current phone which has this annoying crack RIGHT in my line of sight. Lasted me surprisingly long considering it was a $15 cheap-o (eight months or so, which says a lot about me )
Mainly bought it because I get to skip straight over Masrmallow straight to Nougat.
Also, disk drive for the computer project but that's not fun mainly because the order was mostly the cables needed (OEM drive).
I don't shave that often as I find it a laborious task which I have no spare time for. However I still have to tidy myself once in a while.
I hate circular type electric shavers as they don't cut close enough and wet shavers are messy and while give a good cut take time to do correctly.
Enter the Phillips Oneblade. This little shaver is expensive per blade (which is supposed to last around 4 months at £12 each) but it gives (me at least) the best of both worlds. Easy to use electric aid with a close and relatively smooth cut.
It can't beat a wet shave for pure closeness but it gets most of the way.
My LG vacuum dies last week so I picked up a Bissell "Pet Hair Eraser" yesterday.
After a go-round on the rug in the living room, it pulled out an astonishing amount of dog hair. I'm impressed and, bonus, it was half the price of the stupid Dyson my wife sad a coworker recommended.
