Silver chrome paint

Is there a specific way (race)to obtain this as a prize or is it just one I will have to get lucky on?

Silver chrome was last given on the expert level seasonal on 8/20. They do some duplicates but with so many worthless gt-grey and gt-military paint chips in the last several months, gt7 will be out before they award it again.

That sucks, been googeling for a few hours now and searching this forum, on where and how to get it.
I so wanted this Chrome big time! I guess its pointless trying to get it then now?

Lol, no.
My AMG will still have black wing, bonnet, wheels etc. Trying to go the old Vodafone look. Though looking back, it seems not that chrome at all.

You get a Matte paint or a chrome for every 30 cars you get.

Im guessing this changed after GT6 was released ?

Yeah that's GT5, was a pretty good system 'cause it was always a surprise as to what you get.

Now it's just... wait until a seasonal pops up that has a paint reward that you actually want.

Hahah.. Indeed. . Miss the good old days.. I barely play 6 since I was so disappointed with trading and photomode fails .. pretty much were the only things I enjoyed are gone..the photo travel feature in particular is so terrible for what it could be.. and trading paints and cars was fun..

It should be.. I have the normal version of GT6 and I have aquired silver and gold chrome as well as a few other chrome colors.

Oh, sorry mate. lol.
The closest i have seen to the color i would like is on the AMG vision gran turismo car "alubeam silver". Though buying the car does not give you the color lol.
Just waiting on a few seasonal events like stated above to get the Silver Chrome...I won the Gold Chrome which is available atm.

It should be.. I have the normal version of GT6 and I have aquired silver and gold chrome as well as a few other chrome colors.

I can confirm it is - The Anniversary Edition did have the Silver Chrome - as well as many other chromes, some of which look particularly dazzling on certain cars.
