Honestly I don't get it.It has been suggested a lot on the forums, so It is likely to come in the future. I think that only now the game is starting to really mould into something really solid, but there is a fair way to go before it is a complete package.
What about releasing some templates now?
One of the biggest selling point in rFactor is the total freedom on car painting.
SMS with pCars seems to be well aware about that.
tikmI just downloaded this to see what is was like, but i have some very odd ffb on t500rs. Instead of resistance it will turn the steering wheel to full lock in the direction that I turn and stay there with the ffb keeping it there. Anyone have suggestions?
Hello,
My Simraceway team has recently reviewed the results for the Beg Healey 100/6 at Troyton (Event 1870) which took place 10/14/2012 - 10/28/2012 I’m writing with news that you have taken one of these prizes:
1st
GTAce $3
2nd
Typhon42 $2
Congratulations. Just now this money was placed in your account and should now be available for you to use.
And It's possible that I won even more in other difficulty levels.
EDIT: Any car recommendations? Thinking about getting the Formula Renault.
Maybe I'll wait for discounts on Tuesdays though.
EDIT²: 5$ overall now, yeehaw!![]()
The Formula Renault and maybe the Megane Trophy. Some of the McLarens are also interesting. I won't spend the cash on the cheap machines, I can use credits for that.Which cars are you after?
So, last night I decided to give Simraceway another go. So I hit the track again, but immediately my new version of the game had problems, where the updating service failed to work, so after some tinkering and failing to get it working, I called help from the site's positive staff members, and got it working. After a further 6 hours of updating (20 update), I was ready to go. Though it was 2:45 AM and I wanted to sleep.
Today, I got to test the new updated version of the game, so firstly I took my BMW 1M that I had purchased previously out for a run... After failing to drive it and then giving up, I took to the events in the Evo at Sonoma (also known as Infineon but with a different name), and claimed up 42nd with a time of 1:54:177, I'm rather proud of that. But this time, I decided to test the online functions, on the track with others. I came across some horrible drivers, and ended up having to avoid them at all costs (one particular example, igonzalez or whatever his name was, managed to literally take me out in three races, and I mean right out, the engine would no longer run. In one of the races he took me out within 10-20 meters... Avoid him, everyone hated him). However once I had worked that out, I enjoyed many fun races at Watkins Glen (a track I am not familiar with) and enjoyed many top 3 finishes and a win. The game is way better before, and today alone I earned over 300 credits. And I've only been playing for about 4 hours! Back in February/March I earned 490 credits over 10 days!
There are now enough other users for it to be enjoyable, some races having up to 12 drivers, and the content is more than satisfactory. The guys have done a good job at creating a cheap and amazing game. 👍 Now I'm saving up for something... Don't know what, just something that will be fun, but not too pricey.
Edit: And some more racing later, and I've had some really enjoyable races with some good drivers, won some, lost some, did some commentating to others possible amusement and definite distraction.Sad that it's 2 AM and that I have to stop.
TJisA1337NOOBJust a quick question for you guys. Is there any way to earn credits on SRW by myself? Or is it all multiplayer based?
neema_tHot lap events are technically single player but you still have to connect to the Internet to do them.
Connecting to the internet is fine. I just can't dedicate the time to stay with a multiplayer game very long. So you just get a certain amount of credits per lap or how does it work?
Sounds good. Thanks for the help man. I installed it and got everything set up a couple of nights ago. I just wasn't sure about the whole credits bit. I really want to get that F1 LM. It's been my favorite car since I was probably 12![]()
BigbazzPersonally I would keep the credits earned for the cheaper cars and then just buy the expensive cars with cash, for the price of a beer your choice is pretty big. Keep an eye out every tuesday they have a car that is free to drive for the day, alongside that they give you a discount (varies car to car) on that car for the day if you decide you want to buy it.
I've bought a whole bunch of cars on the test drive tuesday days though the Mclaren F1 LM I bought the day it was released, just couldn't wait! The cars are top quality and considering how fast the game is growing and the fact that its free to begin with it's more than worth it to spend the money on the cars you want.
Go-Karts are usually the best way to earn credits, due to the shorter laps.
