Slotted vs Drilled Brakes Discs

Is there any significant performance difference between Slotted and Drilled brake discs? Or just the appearance only?

In the Tuning Shop Rupert will tell you that their performance are the same. It's just an aesthetic difference.

But in all seriousness, the drilled rotors are much noisier in real life when under pressure, and due to the vacuum as the pads covers the holes... At least based on my experience.

I want noisier brakes sound in GT7...

What would cause a vacuum in the holes of a rotor? How is negative pressure filling the holes as the pads contact it during use?
