My horrible rally. Was playing GT Sport and jumped into SLRE... Bad took me a while to get used to the grip levels from a GT3 to a rally car from the 90s in snowy roads hahaha

I'll probably be doing the rally in phases/parts as I just couldn't make a whole rally in one go (backpain, time, tired, sleepy, races in leagues PC2 etc...).

The more I drive this car the more I'm in love with the game and the car! I even gave Dirt Rally to my friend! Not playing it for a long time!
Dirt Rally is more like an artistic take on rally while SLRE is more of a realistic take on it!

Started OK. Bit of a moment in the woods but saved it.
Made a hash of Torsby - didn't even win the stage. Always have trouble with this one but not in these places.
Blew a rear tyre about half way through stage 4
Slid along on roof for a while on stage 7, breaking windscreen so badly I had to switch to bonnet cam.

Lucas and Ale have also run. Actually there are only three left, two of which will be running tomorrow.
Manu will not be able to do Sweden so I am looking for a replacement for Sweden.

That would definitely help Mitsu get past Subaru in the standings LOL. Then again, wouldn't that fly in the face of the "honor system"?

Another dominating performance from the Argentine driver. Drex124 a solid second, followed by nachosimo97 who substituted for el-manu-olivera in Mitsubishi. Here are the rally results:
Drex denied Lucas scoring maximum points by winning the Power Stage:
Lucas stretches his lead in the standings to 11 points:
Ford is still firmly out in front, while Toyota was able to leapfrog Lancia and Mitsubishi able to get in front of Subaru:
Round 3: México
As usual we will shoot for 15 days for Mexico, which puts our target date as Halloween.
It is looking unlikely that el-manu-olivera will return. Mitsubishi has another driver in the wings for Mexico. Nacho's appearance for now was a one-off. He might run Mexico if a team needs a substitute, or maybe as a private entry, though I don't like the idea of non-team drivers taking away points from the regulars. He is flexible so we will see how Mexico goes and if Mitsubishi's new driver is able to join the team.
EDIT: Nacho wants to run in México. I was thinking maybe make him a fourth Subaru driver as a one-off, to help them out, maybe at 50% points so as not to OP them, just to keep the bottom dwellers closer to the leaders. Or if someone else ends up not able to run Mexico then he could also substitute for them.

Did Mexico this morning
Had a bit of trouble with wheel disconnecting and the usual Rural Wales Internet quality.
Broke a steering rod on SS5, which made SS6 a bit hairy, luckily only a short one to service.

Also, remembered I'm allowed a rewind this time - forgot that in Sweden and struggled with punctures and broken windscreens!

Did Mexico yesterday! Definitely one of the hardest rallies and my worst up to this point. Ran most of the rally on some parts heavy damage.
Two notes:
1- It took 2 parts in Youtube simply coz the 1hr recording limit on PS4 was reached. Is there is anyway I could combine them?! Share factory didn't allow me to do that coz it's longer than 60min! Very weird!
2- I had a bug where the copilot completely had a heart stroke at around 4:45 into the 1st stage! I tried to finish the stage without a copilot going blind and by instinct but it didn't end well! I had to restart the 1st stage (I know I have a 5 trials shakedown of S1 so that's ok).

That's probably a good thing. By the end of this stage I find the notes are coming so late I try to tune them out. I'm braking hard for the 3 right I've just seen while the idiot's telling me about the 6 left I've just done!
