I cannot resume my responsibilities this season amd wont be attending tonights soiree. Good luck everyone and have fun!

The thread is good to go now. You just lost your backup host, scorekeeper, backup replay uploader, data specialist, and texter. So a few jobs that need to be filled.

Glad to be back, and hopefully this time around it's more evenly spread out between us. Last time there were too many that belonged in D1 and I was continuously in the rear which put me in D3. If we had four divisions I'd probably be in D3 as there are a lot of guys faster than me.

Good Luck to everyone leaving us to new divisions, and Welcome to those joining us here in D2.
Ohhh, a fellow Ionrax owner....or have we talked about this at some point?
I blame Mr. Morgan if it was the latter.

Haha we may have, but my memory isn’t the greatest lol. I do recall discussing with someone a while back about the need to reinforce the left side of the unit where the wheel sits, possibly was you ??

These(backup host, scorekeeper, backup replay uploader, data specialist, and texter) are the duties that need filled Gentlemen,,,,,@Rob Brown Thank you for the welcome/best wishes post above. Couldn't have said it better.

@Raw10_2u I'll take up scorekeeper since that position seems to be the most important one that's not filled at the moment. I've read the instructions and it doesn't seem too difficult. What's a bit unclear to me is who/how the tabs in that spreadsheet are created.

@Rednose58 creates the sheets each week to reflect the new combos and any new drivers that join SNAIL. Scorekeeping is pretty simple, but if you need any help I can gladly join a party with you and go over it. @Neutty also is interested in it. Maybe we'll do a "workshop" night where others can also join the party incase they may want to take up scorekeeping/data down the road. @CoachMK21 @JLBowler will need to give access to the sheets

Goodbye @Kgffy and @BradESPN, wishing you the best of fortune in D1. Goodbye @vsfit @Sander 001 @TVV0_, best of luck in D3. :scared:
From D1, we get @Grandpa Money and @thracerviewr. From D3, we get @DesertPenguin @Adramike and @Mully465. Welcome all to div2; the home of milk and honey (the sweet spot in all of SNAIL!)
Sorry if I overlooked someone. Man, that’s a lot of change!
Hey, thanks everyone for some great racing but I don't think I will continue on right now. I'm just looking for something a bit different I suppose, maybe like a GT3 series.

I don't need connection speeds for a host. The host doesn't effect the room any differently than anyone else in a non-fixed host room other than the fact that the host has control of settings.

Hey guys. Sorry I’ve been MIA for a while. I’ve had some work things come up and haven’t had time to race....at all. Look forward to jumping back in this weekend.

Throw me in for back up scorekeeper

D1 was fun but I think this is where I belong
Hoping for a fun month of June!

I think I can be back-up host. Having a keyboard helps speed things along and keep the night moving.

Thank you for your interest. Can you or not? Being backup host requires you to have all the room settings correct and saved before the room opening time, and the commitment to racing the whole night.

That part is covered. Last time I hosted there were no connection problems so I don't think I need to test that again.

Honestly, I'd like to be in charge just for the sake of moving the night along quickly. I know we're all friends here and like to talk about that last race, so I would set a 3 minute timer for communication in between races and when it goes off I'm starting the next race unless someone says otherwise. Of course speak up if you need a bathroom break or need to reconnect to the lobby and we'll give you the extra time. That's fair right?

I guess. Just send me a party invite when you're ready and let me know what to type. I still find it so odd that more people aren't buying keyboards since it's the only way to communicate quickly and clearly now.
