Hey fellas I've done some testing with a couple cars I was deciding between and it seems with 4x fuel wear the hellcat and 650s street car both burn off fuel in two laps while going 8-10/10ths. I was wondering if it is possible to lower the fuel wear for sarth to 3x maybe even 2x lol. This will help me decide the car.
Interesting choice @keepitsteady. Definitely going to be one of those combos where we will have to control taking damage as the land yacht is straight line fast, but can be tricky through turns. Fun time!
When you tested this combo did you use sports tires? Right now the first post says N* is SS/SH/SR, but we've been considering changing N600+ to use racing tires instead.
If you tested with racing tires, this would probably be a good time to make that change official. If you tested with sports tires (and obviously like it), this can be a debate for another day.

Nice, let's go with sports tires this week then. In the future, we should probably consider letting the driver choosing the combo also choose the tires (just like we do with fuel/tire management).

You guys will be surprised at how much grip the hellcat has on sports tires. It's actually super fun to drive and easy to manage + you could even bring the kids along since it has a huge back seat :-)

I'm actually surprised at how much grip it does not have.
Expect there to be quite a few corners that have cars sliding through them.
Not complaining, just discussing.
Hope I get used to it quickly.

The few laps that I did were NOT quick by any means. I hope to try to drive as consistently as you do @TEX36, and not be sliding through some of the sections.

The drivers list is separated into three groups - Official Drivers, Provisional Drivers, and Interested Drivers
Official Drivers - Eligible for season championship, and guaranteed a spot in each week's race
To become an official driver, you must commit to racing 6 of the 8 races in the upcoming season (note that this can only be done in between seasons - the next chance to become an official driver is: Following the conclusion of the May-July Season (last race is on 7/10) until 7/17 at Noon (EST)
If an official driver misses more than 2 races in a given season, they will be demoted to "Interested Driver"
Provisional Drivers - Ineligible for season championship, but guaranteed a spot in each week's race
To become a provisional driver, simply reply to this thread at any time during the season.
If a provisional driver misses more than 2 races in a given season, they will be demoted to "Interested Driver"
Interested Drivers - Ineligible for season championship, and spots in each week's race will be given on a first come, first serve basis
To become an interested driver, simply reply to this thread at any time. Interested drivers should be those that would like to occasionally participate (i.e. less than 75% of races).
If an interested driver consistently violates the SNAIL OLR, he/she will be ineligible to compete until the following season.
If you're interested in joining in, please say so in this thread by tomorrow afternoon to guarantee yourself a spot. Tagging everyone who has raced with us the last couple weeks:
Has anyone thought about putting penalties on for this race? Specifically track boundary penalties, not contact penalties (can we separate them)?
Unfortunately corner cutting is a very real problem with this track, and while I'm not suggesting people will do it on purpose, even accidental corner cutting can be a major time gain.
