I got some laps in this morning while chasing Lester, down to a 28.6 so far. I absolutely love this new ghost feature. BB -2 :)

Nice lap. I tried it too, for the first time this morning, chasing the same driver.
 
I saw it posted in the Daily thread that the cheat times are being deleted from the board.


Edit: I just came across these posts in the Daily thread, we’re good to go now. 👍

Daily Race A' Rankings Reset Notice

We have confirmed an issue in the Qualifying Time Trial Rankings for the currently held 'Daily Race A' event wherein lap times were recorded by using shortcuts on the track. As a consequence, we have reset those rankings in order to remove the offending records.

We deeply apologise to those players who were enjoying the event in a fairly manner, and hope that you will continue to support Gran Turismo Sport.

Nice to see some blue on the list, now we just need more green and that other color too.
 
My God, daily A is super tricky. Finding it hard to take the first couple corners and the chicane is killing me.
 
I'm really liking the new combo but cant break into the 35s. It's so difficult to put all the corners together for 1 lap.

If it wasn't summer and so much to do, I would do an absurd amount of laps on this one lol. It's that good.

Again great lap @Pigems , it's so difficult to show restraint onto the short straights and hit the apexs. You did an amazing job of hitting every corner just right.

Did you post your lap here? It should be very helpful compared to what is viewed on the top 10. I can see exactly what you are doing with throttle and brake inputs. Great job bud!

Let's see that lap duplicated while staying inbounds the entire lap.

Side note: wonder how many "fast" guys would be as fast if they were to turn off the driving line, witches hats, floaty blue markers and use something other than ABS default.

I don’t think it could be duplicated while staying completely within the track itself the entire time, but at least I didn’t have the cones turned on. :D I totally understand if you guys don’t count the lap though, I did go off the track exiting T3, it’s the only way to carry enough speed through there to keep up with the top laps. :)

I play with abs off on occasion and have actually won a few sport mode races that way. I used to do abs off a lot more in GT 5/6 when there was a better brake balance adjustment.

Was just talking about abs last night if the game had better physics to where you could actually feel the tires before they lock up it would be great...example project cars 2 I like the way the grip is while braking In that game you can adjust and it almost feels like a real brake pedal to me atleast.

I'm not saying its completely screwed up but just stating it could be a little bit better with adjustments and fine tuning in my eyes.

I can commend @Rob Brown for doing this with no abs.
 
@Pigems lap would probably still be in the 35s if he stayed inside the lines, but not as quick obviously. Its was a damn good lap.

Had to try combo A without ABS. Not a great lap but managed a 37.2 doing my best to stay inside the lines.

I’m a control freak, so no ABS keeps the sim racing fresh for me. The only chance one has to go ABS free is to either use the DS4 or go to high-end pedals - I mean Fanatec V3 or higher. (Yes, you read correctly, [strangely enough] PD allows those on DS4 to be competitive with any wheel/pedal but that will get me [pi$$t] off on a tangent.) Many think the wheel in a setup is the most important. I contend that the pedal setup trumps the wheel importance. I’ll try to pass along to some how to make the transition from ABS to non ABS (that have V3 pedals) but it’s difficult (it was for me too) because we tend to hold on to what’s been working.
Anyway, I love the ‘69 Camaro and need to give this weekly a stab.
 
I switched to ABS off again today after my ABS session. Tried my best to stay inside the lines but couldn't save the lap because of the prior laps with ABS.

It's a lot of fun. Has anyone else tried it?
 
Da_killas-dre did a 36.1 with abs off. That's nuts.
 
Looks like Daily C is the one make race this week and Daiky A has 2 cars available. Are we going with A or C?

And can I change back to my oshawa-joe account and start doing these tts with ABS off?
 
A is technically still a one make, they’re sister cars. I think we used A last time is was the 86/BRZ didn’t we?
