I was in my lounge tuning my car for top speed runs and then all the sudden it was snowing. Is this a rare occurence? I started a race to save the replay in case. I can upload it later on.

I thought it was rain or clear skies only. Snowing occurs on snow track. I remember a video of the 24hr 'Ring track with the same occurence.

It only occurs during an online session, so, yes you could consider it rare.

Incary
It is a track with a 'Change Weather' variation, and that variation is Snow.

What? No it isn't, that only occurs under one set circumstance, the official variation is rain.

Ahhh hmmm. Personally I have had it 3 times with 3 choices of the SSR7 Change Weather variation.

But we all know how moody this game is to most, and forgiving to others.

I see it rather a lot to be honest. I'd say it's pretty common, even though snow is not in the weather options on that track.

yeh ive seen alot of snow. its funny on the SSR7 though as when your flying along top speed. its like star wars

I've only experienced it once, but haven't really attempted to replicate it much.

This has happened to me before, but only once.

I've seen snow on SSR7 in an online lounge a couple of nights ago, parked up for a second because at high speeds I couldn't tell if it was rain or not.

Also had the same on the Nurburgring 24hr at night a few times and that looks fantastic.

Just keep playing these tracks online with friends, make sure the weather isn't set to fixed, and it WILL happen....at some point! lol

I've been on that track around 8 times and have seen snow once, only because I forgot to put "fixed" next to the weather. Didn't figure it was rare. I wish I had this kind of luck with the UCD.

It happens online if you dont change the course setting to 'clear weather.' not rare at all. happens to me all the time.

As you can see, I managed to get lucky with the weather system and get a snow flurry on SSR7! I have a normal cinematic view and a hood view. I accidentally forgot to change tyres before doing this so the run is done on Sports Hards and therefore the lap isn't clean (and I epically failed towards the end too  ). Also, apologies for the poor quality of the video, this was directly recorded from a camera rather than a capture card. But that's beside the point. Here are the videos...

Hood view. Slight jump cut at the start because I needed to conserve space on the SD card (I was being pushed for space on it. :dunce: ).

Here are a couple of pictures as well...

The snow shows up as rain on the circuit. I think this shot looks really good by the way :p

You can see some of the snow here too :)

I understand that this has been discovered already, but I got it to happen so I thought, why not show it?

It looks like that you're in hyperspace when driving around in the snow in an X2010.

Oh? Have you seen my youtube video maybes? :dopey:

Oh wait... I probably should have watched op's videos  I had a video up a while ago though! :)

Yes I must prove myself to you... Shhh....

I just on a server at Special Stage Route 7 and there was snow falling. Now, i looked everywhere and couldn't find an answer. Does anyone know how to make it snow? Even hosting a room, there is 3 weather to chose from; sunny, rain and snow. But snow is greyed out. How do you attain snow??

I'm playing GT5 online at route 7 , with weather change... Later , it snow... It seems strange, but itìs really... It's happy =) to see snow on route 7 when you exit the tunnel...

The same bug appeared on Nurburgring 24H ...

I try suzuka and high speed ring but nothing appens..

Yes, it has already been known to snow at SSR7.

Snows at Eiger too. I think. Like a rain and snow mix. It's weird. I've never driven Nurbrurgring in the snow but SSR7 is like a time warp or something.
